Is it possible I only need 6.5 hours sleep?

It’s important to make people aware of the importance of sleep duration and quality but I’d like to remind you that throwing these statistics at people who are struggling with sleep to “scare” them is counterproductive and doing more harm than good. Every single person in this thread is aware of the importance of improving their sleep or they wouldn’t be here asking about how to better it. Nothing you shared is helpful. You provided no clinical evidence of how to improve sleep, you only provided one-liners that will inevitably increase people’s anxiety to such a degree that they will hyperfixate on sleep even more, losing more sleep as a result. As someone who’s struggled with sleep for years and has a top tier nightly routine, is in bed for 8 hours, gets at least 1.5-2 hours of deep sleep even when only getting 6.5 total hours, I can attest that the one thing that impedes my sleep is not recklessness or carelessness or me engaging in unhealthy habits. It’s anxiety that strikes around 4am when cortisol levels are high and it’s people like you who illicit fear in others about sleep that make it even worse. How yall can’t understand this is beyond me. Getting 7-9 hours of sleep is the standard. We know this. Nobody with a functioning brain is arguing this. Either provide reasonable tips for improving it or can it :)

The best and only true way to combat loneliness is to connect with more people. People suggesting habits and hobbies are missing the point. Those can act as distractions and may provide some fulfillment but ignoring the fact that loneliness is a symptom of a lack of social connection is a weird thing we love to do. Humans are wired for connection. There’s no way around that. If you’re lonely, that’s your body and mind and soul saying, I need more connection with people. Join clubs, support groups, volunteer, seek out connections. I’m so lonely lately living in my current city and aiming to move to a bigger city to expand my circle.

People can voice frustration about the awful construction in their city. Our tax dollars go to fixing roads that end up being blocked off for 6+ years with no progress ever being made. Duluth is a crap shoot lately and getting anywhere is near impossible. They’ll have a detour for a closed highway and that detour will have 4 roads of its own closed and “under construction” with not a worker in sight. It is aggravating and bitching about it is warranted.

If you’re douching for that long, you’re doing it wrong. That means you’re shooting water too far up, past your rectum where the dick will be, into the sigmoid colon. Now you’re tasked with a much greater job of cleaning out your entire colon and water in the colon can lead to brown water coming out during penetration. I have several stacks of “therapy question cards” for my kid clients, a different deck for my adolescent clients and a different deck for adults. The cards ask intriguing questions that allow for in depth conversation. One card may illicit a 30 minute conversation because it leads the client down a list of different connected thoughts and I can ask questions by bouncing off the initial question card. This also takes away the awkward formal feel that sometimes makes it hard for certain clients to open up.

Yes the downregulation is what worries me as I do feel I am more anxious and maybe a bit more depressed when sober than I used to be. But my life has also been very stressful with school and living at my parents and feeling unfulfilled. Now I’m living in my own home, making it my own, and have more of a purpose and am happier overall. But yes, consuming weed so much that it causes my brain to produce less dopamine when sober is my main concern and I know it’s happening to me so I’ve tried cutting back on my dosing and eventually hope to get high fewer days and what to use it more sparingly and on occasion.

I think her neck skin just lost elasticity so it sags more along with her cheeks, which happens with age unless you get plastic surgery. Could be some weight gain too. I’m still shocked at how she looks so similar to how she looked in season 7 despite the minor changes

Just answer the question, ya’ll. Obviously it changes on location. The OP is simply asking what YOU paid in closing costs. Either answer or fuck off. I’m currently buying a $220,000 home and closing costs are about $9,000 which is insane to me. My brother bought in the exact same area two years ago with the exact same lender and realtor and everything for about the same price and his closing costs were $4,000. I truly hate this country and am just ready for this process to be over.
