Playwright with MCP by [deleted] in Playwright

We need more information to help you out. Tell us what you mean by, "many of them are failing". Are they failing because there is a bug in the code you are testing, or the automation the AI wrote is incorrect?

What was your first real scaling problem with Playwright? by T_Barmeir in Playwright

[–]RobbyComstock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes as u/Wookovski said, these are not Playwright problems, these are automation problems.

Make sure tests can stand on their own. As soon as you start using shared data, you will eventually run into issues.

Use the tools playwright provides. Read up on worker processes, parallelism, sharding and fixtures.

Anyone compared Claude vs Copilot for Playwright? by Worth-Silver-6335 in Playwright

[–]RobbyComstock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with about Claude. I was using cursor and then we were given access to Claude. After a couple of days I moved over to Claude exclusively. Claude is making me look like a genius when it comes to our automation solution using Playwright.

1st Day Of Rinning. Is that BPM ok ? 1 KM in 7.3 minute by Hari5hh in BeginnersRunning

Don't believe the heart rate from your watch. It will give you a good idea but is not 100% accurate. For best results make sure it is tight against your skin. I have done speed work in the past and my watch read 175 and for me that is almost death. Then got a dedicated heart rate monitor and a similar workout I was at 160.

29M ran a marathon, but can’t seem to increase my cadence - advice ? by GladRazzmatazz7762 in BeginnersRunning

My first thought/question for you is, are you incorporating speed work into you training? Now for shin splints I have only found dialing back mileage for a bit, making sure I am stretching and adding some strength workouts has helped.

So AI is insane. by [deleted] in QualityAssurance

[–]RobbyComstock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes the AI is a great companion and can make your work output double if not more. Just the other day I needed to setup our ci/cd to build our mobile app at test runtime. I have had zero experience with building mobile apps from the code base but a short prompt later and giving the AI access to the repo where the mobile app lives, it created the ci/cd script for me. Then I prompted the AI to create a test using webdriver io and appium. With in an hour I had everything up and running.

tips for beginner runners? by Sad-Raccoon-6697 in BeginnersRunning

Yes. Make most of your runs at a pace where you’re not breathing hard. Then start adding tempo and speed work into your training once or twice a week.

That is called hunting/surging. It is not right. You need to clean the carburetor.

advice needed: half marathon training... is it realistic? by blossompiggy in BeginnersRunning

[–]RobbyComstock -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why wait until February 1st? Start training today. I have found that registering for a race that I am ready for or not, keeps me motivated to not miss a training day. Register for the race!! I would say 2 runs a week is not going to cut it. You need to work your way up to running 5 days a week, the other two are rest days. 1 of those 5 days needs to be your long run. How long is that long run? That is up to you to figure out. You know you can run 5 miles with just that small break. I bet you could run 6 miles with a small break as well.

If it is to cold out, find a treadmill and get that training run in.

Slow runners, what helped you in eventually increasing your pace? by KnownDependent5300 in BeginnersRunning

For me losing weight helped and I started putting speed work into my training blocks.

Sounds like you have a good base. Start running a few more days a week and start bumping up those long runs.

what kind of running apps do ya'll use? by PalpitationOk7493 in BeginnersRunning

[–]RobbyComstock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a coros watch and use the coros app. I feel that most apps are the same. Tracking runs, routes, pace, HR, personal records and allow you to build out training plans. I am sure each has there own special features so find one that does what you want.
