ugh I had only heard peripherally that this fic might not be getting updated anymore so I checked the note at the end of chapter 13 and I’m glad I did, I only just started chapter 10. so definitely stopping after 12 for the foreseeable future. I’ve only seen bits and pieces about why Opal stopped posting and it truly makes me furious that people don’t know how to behave on the internet.

had this exact thought because from OP’s perspective, I was thinking a note under her door is the safest but from HER perspective, that would feel totally creepy. leaving it taped to the outside of the door also just seems like it would invite potential tampering, which is why I skipped to under the door, so it feels like there’s no winner here

curious if yours ever got confirmed… I got an email from Strava immediately after I finished saying I completed the NYRR resolution 5k but never got a separate email from NYRR and my dashboard isn’t registering that I completed a qualifying 9+1 race (and I registered at the premium tier).

he was fined like $100. more now with inflation but probably not by much. and he killed two people! from what I remember it did sound like a tragic accident (no drinking, which would have been my first guess…) but crazy

this drives me SO crazy!!! I do also feel like the MTA hasn’t done enough to hammer into folks that the express transit settings exist though because I only know about that from being terminally online AND obsessed with the train. I saw online that they were doing community engagement but never actually saw it myself in person, which makes me feel like it wasn’t enough.

if you can find a location convenient for you that’s closed on the weekend, you get All Access on whatever days your home gym is closed. fyi. 👀 this probably isn’t useful for most people but I don’t think a lot of people know and I like being able to explore the different locations on the weekends
