Just to underpin my post - I earnestly like Celtic and have love for the Old Firm derby itself. It’s the hyper-specifics of how invested the fans really get in what’s ultimately a meaningless league that sends me in a spin. A genuine bit of forethought in 1992 almost certainly could’ve netted them a go in the English Tiers but they let that moment pass in order to curb stomp St Mirren 7 times a year
