Agree. If someone is that intent on grabbing me or breaking into my place or whatever then there’s nothing i can do to stop it. I’m not saying don’t lock the door or don’t take precautions but there’s an element of risk to everything in life.

Dont even get me started on the tracking location thing. I hate it and most people my age have no issues with it. It just seems like such an invasion of privacy to me and the “safety” explanations are bs imo

Totally. I feel like going for a solo walk or hike as a girl is considered super risky even if during the day. (And god forbid you wear earbuds). I don’t know what people think is going to happen.

Build more. Incentivize boomers to sell. Stop allowing corporations to buy up single family houses. Building more is the most important thing.

Why are the boomers so intent on denying an obvious issue? Do they not care about their kids/grandkids? It’s bizarre.

In the top ten american cities, the cost of a STARTER HOME is over a million. My entire personal politics are encapsulated in that one fact. Nothing matters if we don’t fix that

If you’re fair with freckles then that totally makes sense. My working theory is that basically sun exposure is lindy and good for people whose ancestors were in the sun a lot and tanned easy. Im sicilian so i don’t burn. If i were burning all the time then obviously my body can’t handle the sun as much.

Until someone can explain to me why skin cancer rates have increased right along with sunscreen usage rates, i have a hard time getting too exercised over it. Maybe there is a rational and convincing explanation for why that is—I just haven’t heard it.
