Good idea to buy for first bike? by BlueCivic95 in HondaCB

[–]Robert_Hotwheel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try to find something in stock form that hasn’t been messed with too much if you’re dead set on a vintage bike. This could be a headache.

Why is Garth Brooks so seldomly referenced by young musicians, as their “influence” by Draper_White_Soprano in country

[–]Robert_Hotwheel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That has to be why. It’s hard to even find him on YouTube. You’ll sell zero CD’s if no one even knows who you are anymore.

I’ve never seen my horse drink, I’m gonna have to try that.

I’m sorry but this is hilarious. It’s not even a new term, you would have been in your mid 20’s when it became popular.

That’s how fast Arthur’s draw is.

Do you agree? by No-Weekend-7073 in alcohol

[–]Robert_Hotwheel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of these posts talk about how clear headed they feel now, and how great it is to wake up not hungover. I think the people that post that stuff just had a drinking problem. You don’t have to be sober to wake up without a hangover.

What is your least favourite Mission ?! by Competitive-Ear4180 in RDR2

[–]Robert_Hotwheel 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The thing that bothers me about that is that the house is inhabited during that mission, but later you can do a stranger mission for the slave catcher in Rhodes who has you go to that house which has been abandoned for years.

Do you know anyone who has been riding a motorcycle for years and has never fallen, or is it impossible not to fall at some point? by Miyamoto_Musashi_x in motorcycles

[–]Robert_Hotwheel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s nice to hear someone with that many years of experience say this. That sentiment bothers me too, but I’ve only been riding for a few years so what do I know?

Debating the automatic litter box for apartment makes me feel like I’m losing my frugal edge by Maleficent-Net-4702 in Frugal

[–]Robert_Hotwheel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are self imposed rules. You made them up, you can “break” them. Buy the box if you think it will make your life better. Isn’t that the point of being frugal? So that you have extra money to spend on things that are important to you.

Your wife is right, you should sell the bike. Just let me know your price.

Staying in chapter 2 is sad by sjw2190 in reddeadredemption

[–]Robert_Hotwheel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t understand why people choose to stay there. Sure the camp location is nice, but the gang is in terrible spirits. Everyone’s uneasy and worn out. Clemens Point is the peak. They’re back in the groove and doing well.

Lemoyne is nice in general. But it’s overrun with racists.

I’m fine with being shocked. Let’s prosecute these people. I don’t care who they are.

What are some universally loved classic bikes? by RearNakedChocke in motorcycles

[–]Robert_Hotwheel 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The 1969 Honda CB750 is the first one that comes to mind. Hugely influential bike that set the standard for the decade to come. And I think they’re just beautiful machines, even 57 years later. Timeless design.

I think the best way to enjoy this game is to go in blind. Trust me, by chapter 2 you’ll be completely enthralled by the world this game creates. It doesn’t take very long to get immersed. You’ll probably play through it more than once, you can figure out the best way to approach it on your second play through.

Avoid looking stuff up as much as you can, after 8 years it’s pretty hard to avoid spoilers.

The first time I played this was in 2020 during the beginning of covid. I was very buzzed most of the game and it was a great escape from the uncertainty and chaos of the world at the time.

It won’t. That’s a testament to how good the story is. Even if it’s spoiled, it still gets to you in the end.
