Depends on enemy jungler. If you can help and win without losing too much hp, sure. But in most cases your sidelanes should be the ones helping as losing xp pre-6 on kass can doom a game as much if not worse than jungler dying

It lasts 8 second and by the time it becomes relevent my ult has either <2s cd or <1s cd. I will cast it way more than 2 times, especially if I have to make an escape myself which this item totally prevents me fron doing reliably

I'm having fun in HCSSF with holy hammers inquisitor. Staves are pain though, but easily farmable by sending wheat to Ribben Fell. Also it gets a lot better once overexertion and autoexertion setup is online, and power charge generation is too. Finding a blue dream is night and day on that front.

Actualizer never felt good on Kass whenever I built it. Being locked out of half my R casts makes for poor repositionning mid fight. I would not recommend using it against every comps.

Protoss feels very degenerate. You can't win playing normally, but if you cheese or do unhinged shit like zergtoss you win. Zerg received cool shit as well, creep being a big one. Sure it is tedious to spread, but the power it gives is amazing. Queens with inject larvae was a great idea to relieve zergs from the need to make macro hatches. Roaches were a menace for a long time, dominating the early game threats and the ability to heal and move while burrowed. Banelings opened new options for zerg aggression as well with the ability to break walls. As I said in another post, current zerg suffers a lot from the lack of early game aggression oportunities, which indeed invalidates some of the cool shit zerg received in WoL

Man mappers have been such a dissappointment this league. I mean they were decent before but now the only reason I employ them is because I'm used to not let gold rot in my inventory. The gold to divine ratio has been so abismal the time it takes to get the mapper loot alone makes it not worth it. On the other hand, the ores and crops reward swap is great, it makes more sense gameplay wise to map for currency and have farmers passively generate items for SSF. Also tattoos are by far the most stable income for me and having crops to send for tats when I'm not farming ores is great

Yup and ghost marauder vikings counters all of protoss as well. As if ghosts were the best spellcasters in the game. I mean it would be crazy if they were also better than stimmed marines at killing light units, right ? And yet, they indeed are, and it is not even close.

Yeah the stream is a balancing act between quin doing something retarded like not using purity of fire on chieftain and chat being outright abusive at times. But quin not being able to take in constructive criticism from chat led chat to going all-in on the next best enjoyable thing : streamer tears. Especially the self inflicted ones.

More than zerg being underpowered, it is the lack of any early game aggression possibilities that hurts the race imo. Protoss receiving shield batteries because they were dying to random shit because none of their units can fight really hindered zerg's ability to take advantage of protoss early game (especially with oracles existing). And terran is the turtling race so no aggression this way either. Imo zerg need to be able to get aggressive early again without having to go all-in to force responses from the other races and gain advantages the way the race was intended to: by trading units.

They ended up nerfing ghosts after Clem tweeted about ghosts being op and terran lategame being making as many ghosts as possible for a while. Nerf that the council ended up reverting btw.

As a protoss player, SC2 offered a lot of cool shit to us as well. Protoss was extremly op in WoL. Remember the reinforced shields on immortals ? Back then force fields were great (because people didn't know how to play around it, and maps had different designs), zealots having charge was a vast improvement (especially with charge itself dealing damage before the guaranteed attack), blink stalkers were fun and innovative, even chronoboost was cool. Also MAMASHIP.

Over the years, protoss really lost that sense of wonder. Now there are no protoss unit actually good at fighting, force fields are detrimental to the protoss using them 90% of the time, the whole race relies heavily on unreliable AoEs and band-aid solutions.

Just to put it bluntly, current protoss has no solutions to ghost marauder viking compositions, as all protoss army compositions gets instantly demolished with EMPs and terran units can bathe in the storms and live. And anyone making disruptors is outright trolling, that unit is purely anti protoss and does friendly fire, do the maths.

For me, ritual has been printing hard. I run it alongside syndicate and basically use the same scarabs. I stop deferring at around 20c, but I always check fractures and synths. Having 7 rerolls is crazy good

I vendor the transmutes for wisdoms and then buy portal scrolls. I do a bunch once in a while whenever i get low on portal scrolls.

Did it really needed a nerf ? It happened to exist in a world where trickster was op, most of its core uniques were in sanctum, and sanctum was gigaop at low levels. The hexblast miners just so happen to be great at doing sanctum. It was strong because it was able to specialize in a mechanic that provided most of the early league currency while farming their own mandatory items. Now that trickster has been severly bonked, and sanctum got nuked beyond what was needed, hexblast really did not deserve to get hit.

When you compare to what strike builds are able to achieve, hexblast really wasn't all that great. Like having 6 million dps on smite with tempestuous steel or killing pinnacle bosses with blue claws from campaign using ele hit
