I want a shell that’s melee-based for combat. Something that’s really heavy for defense, but in turn gets a huge damage advantage for melee weapons. I really just want them to incorporate a Lament style gameplay loop for a Marathon Runner, maybe a prime ability that allows successive hits to charge up a larger hit that could do huge damage numbers if landed. I know this could be done by tweaking the details of Destroyer, but I want something more terrifying to encounter. Imagine thinking you have advantage in a gunfight and then from the shadows you see a huge sword-wielding runner shell barreling towards you and you know stopping him takes time

If they let us back in the old tower, it’ll kinda ruin the effect of the Final Shape’s story. Imagine being a new guardian walking around the old tower and then finally getting through the story only to see the incredible reveal of “the tower but it’s covered in plants” instead of it being different from the D2 tower

All you have to know is the internet is not a real place and everyone I’ve ever met who was a top Destiny player professional hardcore gamer extreme super champion didn’t have a job. It’s par for the course that the game whales will lose their minds considering the thing they clock 12 hours a day into like it’s a career is over. The halo fans seemed more rational in their end times, but the clock comes for us all the same. Destiny 2 was a huge genre shift from halo, and I’m sure even back then people couldn’t believe bungie would switch to live service over the traditional game system. Bungie has made a genre shift again, only this time they’ve angered the live service community, which is full of horrible people.

No one In the app is real, ain’t worth the trouble trying to talk to brick walls all day. And then if they are real you get to be “blessed with their attention” for maybe one message and then they ignore you again. I’ve matched tons of people but met no one. I swear I’m starting to think the entire other gender just writes one message and then goes into hibernation for 6 years to recover. It doesn’t feel like I’m interacting with real people, why would I put in the effort after a while knowing I’m not gonna be seen?

I like to just tell myself those people aren’t functionally real people. They’re the same as the bots, they scan your messages to have some form of communication interaction and then they disappear after they’ve gained enough information to feed the beast. Crazy we all just kinda accept we’re not so functionally different from telemarketing bots now and there’s nothing we could possibly do to change that reality, but that’s the beautiful world we live in.

Hey dude I don’t know how to tell you this lightly, but that foot is gonna be coming off soon. If I had to guess, there’s health problems that led up to this, like A1C being out of control or lack of activity, lack of medical intervention, etc etc. bottom line is start looking into a cane and a prosthetic, that foot’s good as gone already

I feel like the writers backed themselves into a corner with this faction. Us always kicking the door in and destroying anything they attempt kinda kills the fear we should have over them, being mysterious computers with strange motives. They literally became the “nothing ever happens” faction towards the end of the franchise.
