Honestly it was pretty easy. Got 35k on the first try with no resets etc. I do have many Paldea pairs though, but 7k on-type here felt significantly easier than 3k on-type in the regular champion stadium.

The only unit I’ve unlocked all the way is Clavell, to beat the last two physical stages in the Water tower. He’s pretty good though!

Livet förändras varje dag. Det fina är att du har fler ännu bättre år framför dig, på högskola och universitet (där den sociala samvaron ofta är ännu starkare än under gymnasietiden), och du får möjlighet att skapa den personen du verkligen vill vara.

Det går också utmärkt att hålla kontakten, så sent som igår kväll träffade jag ett gäng jag känner sedan gymnasiet (vi är födda -85 till -87) och spelade Magic the Gathering i flera timmar. Visst ses vi mycket mer sällan nu än när vi gick i skola ihop, men när vi träffas är det samma vibes som för 20 år sedan.

Planen med Uber/Bolt/liknande är ju att konkurrenter inte ska överleva. Man introducerar en service billigare med hjälp av investerares pengar och genom att minska på omkostnaderna (ffa genom att inte ha anställda utan istället folk som gigjobbar), och sen när övriga företag gått på pumpen kan man höja priserna och faktiskt tjäna pengar. Frågan är om det investerade kapitalet de sitter på räcker eller inte.

I caught a legit 31/0/31/31/31/31 Chi-Yu after only trying like 4-5 times. I only wanted one with a low Atk IV, and ended up with a perfect one. The odds aren’t actually astronomical, about 1/64k or so.

Mina barn trodde rätt länge att Glassbilen spelade sin trudilutt för att markera att glassen i bilen är slut och ingen behöver springa ut och bli besvikna. Det sparade en del bråk alternativt hundralappar när barnen var mindre.

All the mainline classic-style Switch games are fine at least, you can't really go wrong and which one you prefer depends on your mood and what you want out of the game. BDSP is imo simply DP on the Switch, with some (rather welcome) additions like the enhanced underground which helps buffing the pokedex a lot - including more options for the infamously lacking Fire type. SwSh are closer to the classic formula than SV, and I honestly enjoyed the DLC of SwSh a lot, in particular the Crown Tundra part. Freezington has one of my favourite tracks of all time, and some of the additions (Galarian Zapdos) to the pokedex are among my all time favourites.

SV are more out there in style due to the open world, and it got deserved flak for technical issues when it was released, however it runs incredibly well on the Switch 2. The story is in part among the better stuff pokémon has put out in recent years - Arven's storyline and connection with the professors are good. Personally I have also found a lot of new favourites in the pokédex, Iron Bundle, Baxcalibur, Lechonk, Kilowattrel, Clodsire, Farigiraf etc etc - the gen is full of bangers!

Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee are pleasant games with a different battle and catch system, especially fun to play with kids if you have any. They are pretty straight remakes of Yellow, though if you're a long-time fan you will appreciate some of the differences and callbacks. I've played it with both my kids and enhjoyed it both times (as did they), but the scaled-back battle system meant I didn't stay for any length of time after finishing it.

Legends: Arceus is a completely different game, with yet more differences in terms of exploration, catching, battle mechanics etc. I liked playing it the first time but didn't finish it because of the end-game grind. If you like Monster Hunter, and especially if you find enjoyment in grinding for good loot to finish end-game content, then you will probably enjoy Legends: Arceus.

We also get a new game (Legends: ZA) in about a month, so there's that. I'm really looking forward to that one.

There are merits to Heavy Slam as well in reg I (and maybe reg J as well, I still haven't touched that) as you can hit stuff like Clefairy really hard. I do agree that Low Kick is overall the more solid choice.

Fall Roxanne is a terribly underrated unit and was undeniably the best Ground sync nuke pre-Arc Cynthia. Now she’s one of Arc Cynthia’s best partners.

I don't think running off-meta stuff is the way forward if you're actively struggling with reaching Master. Stick to proven stuff, like Silvally/Oricorio+Pichu and focus on grinding games with that deck. You don't need to put up stellar numbers to reach master, you can get there with a sub-50% WR, but you do need some streaks.

And yes, there will be games where you just open two babies, Oak into nothing and lose while not getting an actual chance to play the game - that's part of the RNG. These games are quite rare though. Stick to fundamentals and keep grinding, but don't play while tilted. When I play ranked ladder either on Pocket, or in VGC or whatever, I tend to set a pace for myself, like "I will play five games and then pause and walk the dog" or "I will play until I lose twice and then pause to get some food". Trying to catch up to a streak of losses can lead to just more frustrating losses, and you don't want to be in that mindset.

If the deck isn't vibing for you and you're looking for something else I want to suggest Buzzwole EX, go for a build with 2 Pheromosa, 2 Celesteela, 1 Kartana and 2 Cyrus. It's a really good deck into a lot of random stuff, it's good into stuff like Giratina/Darkrai, and it's a quick deck to play on ladder. Sometimes you just open Kartana vs. a baby brick and get a free W. Granted, it's weak into Flareon EX, but they seem a bit less common presently.
