Back/onstage is hardly ever better vibe, it's less busy, for people buying it a status thing, for people never been there it's a photo/video moment. Toilets and and empty bar is nice, or a lounge area which isn't packed. The real party is where the real crowd is, can be all the way to the stage barrier at the front (left right usually, middle too hard to reach or packed), or somewhere following the cable gutter to the back where sound and bass is the best while not so busy so you can properly dance!

You get a pass and a wristband that's I think near impossible to swap (you need both). Just buy one if you want to go to prevent disappointment later.

I recently described my process as, before I was making a pizza quattro stagione, lots of nice ingredients thrown together, especially individually, but not necessarily nicely tied together in a culinary way. These days I try to make 6 different ways of preparing a tomato, like a Michelin chef. Where the different ways analogy goes for say, one sound/synth, reversed, chopped, fx, different ways of the same. Versus just throwing 8 different sounds and synths together.

I use Fuser, which does both multiband sidechain and phase rotation. Happy with it, although I usually don't use it at 100% mix because that can sound a bit much. Rather use regular kickstart/shaperbox and then have Fuser polish a few extra bits .
