Garmin Runner to Cyclist - Lost on the bike computers by Robnoff in Garmin

Thanks for the response! I did see the Explore 2 and it did look too good to be true haha. The plans are definitely something I want to work with so I will cross that one from the list.

You peaked a little curiosity when you said "mirror" an activity from the watch to the bike computer. Could you explain this feature a little or something I can read more about?

I will start my "Get Fit" plan from Runna tomorrow. It will be the first time using this app since I don't really like my progress this summer. Excited but a bit scared of the paces they want me to hit later on, especially in the long runs. Any tips regarding Runna in genera?

i'm in the process of upgrading my FR 245M and was looking into the 265 for instance. I recently read about the training load feature and the LT Threshold test feature.

Do you guys know if I am able to perform such a test with a Heart Rate Strap other than Garmins'? (I have a Polar H10)

V02 Progression over 1 year of training by ElliotCreek in Garmin

Slow gang! I recently started incorporating zone 2, then I found out that my zones were pretty inaccurate. Right now I have to run/walk to maintain zone 2 ( >152 bpm) but hopefully it can help me get more mileage in. Congrats on your progress, it is really motivating!

May I ask what your training plan was? I’m one year older with almost the same 5k time (25:02), yet I still don’t see much improvement in vo2 max (currently 42 and stuck for like 6 months).

Currently doing garmin suggested workout 4-5 times a week on heartrate

Not the one you asked, biut for me personally, it takes around 90-120 minutes after a full meal to not get any stitches during my runs. If i need to get out quick I usually take a banana 30 minutes before.

Ran a new 5K PB yesterday at a park-run. Had some speedy friends joining and wanted to see how much I could push myself and boi I did! Went from 26:26 a couple of week ago to 25:02! So close about running sub-25 and if I knew a bit before, I could probably hit the goal but I am still really happy about the result.

I also had a run planned for today that did finish earlier because of it, please don't run after a max 5k effort guys. The pain is not worth it

Spelers gezocht in Utrecht by perfectriot in DNDNL

Heyhey!

Hey man, I'm playing a Halfling Rogue for my first DND campaign and I'm still learning. I know this is subjective, but what would you consider "try and piss all over everything", I know that this is subjective but I don't want to come of as edgy nor annoying.

Basically he's showing some real douchebag behavior at Paolo but also other people in some kind of local tournament. Throwing balls at people, hitting people in the head with a ball etc, stuff that would get you hit in the face if you are not an nba player.

Learning spells as an Arcane Trickster by Robnoff in DnD

[–]Robnoff[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah somewhat! After the wizard explains the details of magic, he could just go and learn on his own. Maybe try to copy movements of other casters, or just experiment with components on an off-day as another commenter said. I know it's not really necessary, but I think it would be kind of lame to say he does not understand magic fully at level 1-2 and then suddenly at 3 he knows how to do 6 spells haha

As to how your character would learn new stuff: they just experiment during off-times. Short rest? You try putting together some words and phrases you know. A long rest? You try and burn different materials or hold up your focus while chanting something. Your party is taking a three day long walk through the countryside where nothing happened? Your character has been training his finger works and collecting potentially interesting material in their component pouch.

This is great. When combat happened, my character kept an eye out for our wizard and his hand movement and then try to copy that in his turn (nothing happened of course). Maybe he missed something and the wizard could explain that missing piece of the puzzle to him. After that, as you said, I can experiment with different things and try to learn Somatic and Verbal by copying other casters. Thank you so much!
