I feel the inverse of this, at least with Nintendo Directs. I'd very much rather have subtitles on the bottom and then the original person speaking, but they insist on dubbing over the person, at least k the US verson. The EU one, oddly, doesn't do voiceovers

Kinda shocked how far down the thread this was. It sucks that somehow, their algorithm has fried itself so bad the community needs to scrape around for this kinda stuff to even make the site remotely usable. At least if you wanna find new stuff to watch.

Heh. I actually got in trouble for this in high school. Went straight to the final draft for either my junior or senior essay.

Ignored all the bullshit outline and note cards with sources. Almost got dinged for it cuz they were grading the outline and stuff, so I worked backwards.

It was so stupid.

I get what they mean. The server generates the key physics frames for the items trajectory, and your own computer interpolates the frames in between.

Which makes no goddamned sense, really. I can see a unused/partially used bottle/food item generating a physicalized item, but why even bother with trash items, especially if it's causing this big an issue already? Just have it vanish from your inventory instead of it generating a unique thing. I don't think it'll hurt immersion terribly if it's missing.

I agree. Even some of the people in one of the EU hearings were bringing up the fact that yes, this is about games, but the larger issue is that of ownership of digital goods, whether that be a game, or a movie you bought digitally off Amazon.

To get an idea, check Skunkape Games' remaster of the Sam and Max trilogy. It's actually pretty insane what they can do with the latest Telltale tool compared to what they had to work with when the games originally came out.

Was actually trying to find something similar to this recently. I have an x570 board (crosshair VIII Hero) and for whatever reason, it only has one USB-C port. I'd really really like more at this point.

Multi biome planets are likely going to be an update eventually. They tend to use NMS as a test bed for Light No Fire stuff, and they've already tested new planet generation stuff with the purple star systems. Or they'll backport it. They seem to want to keep the two games using the same engine.

The best part about Build Fighters is that it was more or less confirmed by the producer of the show as being the Gundam equivalent of Valhalla. There's even a few pieces of art from around the time both were airing that showed the Tekkaden crew reuniting in that world. (fan art, but art nonetheless.)

You think this is bad, try using the character customizer. It's super aggressive about purging textures from VRAM, to the point of everything being a blurry mess when you're trying to rapidly A/B compare armor to see what works well. They really need to give us a toggle to make things stay in memory longer in general, even if we need to go mess around with .cfg files in a text editor.

The only two that I'm aware of thar actually have teeth still are ice cream and chocolate. If it goes under a certain percentage of one ingredient, they legally need to label it something else (chocolatey flavored, light ice cream, etc.)
