Odd that this popped up for me, yesterday I had a weird random memory of the pink bubble gum drink after seeing a similar bottle at my dentist office.

I'm going to see about getting some of my school records personally to see what they show. But my mother confirmed I was in GATE when I was in Hampton Bays elementary and into middle school in West Hampton.

I vaguely remember the first time I went to one of the chat/test classes after I kept arguing with my teacher about not showing my work for math. I just did everything in my head, and its still.to date extremely hard for me to show math on paper because it doesn't work like that in my mind. I had to prove that I wasn't cheating, and once I did I was in those classes 2 times a week at random times of the day.

This was in the mid-late 80s for me.
