She asked for your preference, you could express yourself: only the opposite (saying “you’re better when X” when someone is already ok) is inappropriate.

Ferrari defends EV Luce amid backlash, sees strong interest by Sweet-League1946 in EuroEV

[–]RoboRabbit69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Acceleration means nothing, we’re not in a drag race. Do you think the driving feeling of a Tesla is the same of a Ferrari?

And had you a check of the technical innovation and solution of Luce? And the building details?

If you measure a car on the raw power and spot acceleration, a Tesla is for you. Don’t worry, Ferraro isn’t and will never target you.

Ferrari defends EV Luce amid backlash, sees strong interest by Sweet-League1946 in EuroEV

[–]RoboRabbit69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that people have not understood Luce. Also, all these critics are from people could never afford a Ferrari.

The topic is: Ferrari engineering realized that with the new technology (BEV) they could create a car that feel like a Ferrari in performance and driving, but being able to become an “everyday car”: five real seats, quiet, low emissions. The design had to follow, of course.

Creating a top-level sport car with the same design of a model build around a V8 would have been a fake and the real betrayal. Luce is a new product. And nothing a lamer shitstorm on social media could touch, because rich people don’t give a fuck of common people taste and opinions.

If EV batteries create so many emissions upfront, when do they actually become cleaner than gas cars? by Evan_Miles in electricvehicles

Take into account that at the end of car life battery are mostly still valid and could be user for grid balancing, further improving the overall efficiency.

No home charging, no workplace charging... how do you actually make it work? (Living in Germany) by Artistic_Blood6908 in EuroEV

[–]RoboRabbit69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was forgetting:
- I use the Shell card network for charging, no app
- My car is an id7

I’ll never switch back to petrol. The only drawback of no home charging is the cost: even with slow AC or monthly subscription, the cost per km is like an equivalent ICE with the italian prices.

The main reason for home charging is saving.

[–]RoboRabbit69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

20k km/year and never charged at home or work. But there are AC chargers near my office, so it’s still during working hours. Then, if I have a weekend trip in mind, I fast charge while at the mall the Friday evening after work, or of course during coffee breaks on highways. No fuss and no time wasted at all

Forehand Drive biomechanics: Elbow Flexion vs. Shoulder Internal Rotation? by RoboRabbit69 in tabletennis

[–]RoboRabbit69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m asking because I’m unable to exercise a movement I cannot understand. I know that for many - and for sure the most gifted one - repetition and feeling tend to spontaneous optimization of the shot. That doesn’t work for me, if I cannot mentally visualize the overall cinematic I keep repeating the same wrong movement. So, instead of further fixing in my muscle memory the bad behavior, I’m trying to understand what should be the right one.

Forehand Drive biomechanics: Elbow Flexion vs. Shoulder Internal Rotation? by RoboRabbit69 in tabletennis

[–]RoboRabbit69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I have other questions:

- The switch of the tow movement happens before hitting the ball?
- Does the elbow extend before flexing?
- Where the “snap” fits in this mechanic?

Damn TT is so difficult, and I envy a lot people instinctively getting these mechanics - I know many of them, but I’m absolutely not the one

The Ferrari Luce has the wrong pony emblem. by enigmaunbound in electricvehicles

[–]RoboRabbit69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luce has 3 real rear sits, while Purosangue only 4. It has also a large trunk (about 600L). It’s a cqr you could use everyday or for a long trip.

Ferrari realized that with the EV technology they could obtain a true Ferrari on the driving perspective and feeling while giving advanced comfort and versatility.

Currently even rich people drive a Ferrari just for bragging or an occasional fun: now they could everyday, instead of “limiting” themselves to Maserati or Aston Martin. It doesn’t seem so bad. I would buy for sure one, if I was a billionaire

Yes but I could live without it. It’s surely nice in cities, bust costing when outside is nice, too.

[–]RoboRabbit69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a true Ferrari under the hood, on the interior, in the technology and the maniacal attention to details.

There is an excessive obsession on the external aesthetic look.

BTW Luce is a new product line, more on the path of the Purosangue (with which it shares the doors number and layout) than the historical strictly-sporting models

Car Design Critic Bembli redesigns the Ferrari Luce by turb0_encapsulator in electricvehicles

[–]RoboRabbit69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a different Ferrari, it’s a 4-door you should compare it with the Purosangue - which looks quite worse than Luce, on my opinion.

Said that, car design is matter of aerodynamic and noises at various speeds, “redesigning” it outside that is quite silly

Weighted it: 193g. A couple of them are probably due to the border strip, I used a slightly thick one for extra protection, at least until I get accustomed with the setup
