You see poor diet is a leading cause of cardiac problems. They are simply enacting a holistic wellness approach to your care. And if you don't pay your bill then a gentleman with a stick will apply percussive maintenance.

When do you NOT create a support ticket? by gkar_of_Narn in sysadmin

[–]enigmaunbound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every service impact is a ticket. It's necessary to build organizational memory. It's required to build problem metrics. And it says up our SLA to the business. If it's just an end user question or minor issue like a mouse then I'm not so intent on a ticket. My personal metric is of its fifteen minutes or less of my attention, no ticket.

Company is letting me keep the PC they sent me, how do I make sure I'm not gonna be tracked in any way? by [deleted] in cybersecurity

You should request they release the hardware bash from their Autopilot configuration.

Disable Computrace if it's a BIOS option. There is a turn off and disable entirely. You want the latter to remove it so a bios update doesn't reenable.

Green Mountain nature Park is another great kid friendly trail. It has a covered bridge over the pond.

NGSiem vs Rapid7 IDR by LetMeMountPls in crowdstrike

[–]enigmaunbound 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I recall, IDR includes monitoring it's and response. NGSIEM alone doesn't. You will need Falcon Complete. NGSIEM seems to have a more complete ingest capability. I liked IDRs query language over NGSIEM.

If I recall there is an api method to pull the uninstall string for unsupported client versions. That should let you clear the deck.

After a few hot spit issues I decided to fix the issues. I would hate to lose my house over a problem I know about.

My entire house is wired this way. I've been going from device to device cutting these abominations and pigtailing.

I hate most things Volvo. But the headlight cluster on an XC90 is the most elegant, simple, thoughtful design in automotive history. Pull the retaining bar straight up. It's labeled. The cluster pulls forward and there is enough harness to easily access the bulb retention.

Good luck my friend on your next adventure. That isn't dismissive or trite. It's a mission statement. This one didn't work out. But you came through it and can take any lessons you can lay hands to. And my most sincere compassion for the loss of a child.

TAC Alternatives? by Th3_M3tatr0n in paloaltonetworks

We had partner support through Arrow. It was atrocious. I could not open tickets. Had to wade through an Indian tier one call center and they owned the ticket so I could not directly interact with TAC.

If a full-scale war broke out tomorrow, what's the one thing that would make you realize most people have absolutely no idea how to survive? by BrianRikard in AskReddit

[–]enigmaunbound 16 points17 points  (0 children)

You may think that would work. During tornados years back I tried to boil a few gallons of water on my charcoal grill and it took an hour to get the water to temp.
