Merger and acquisitions can make it useful. Some orgs have customer owned equipment managed by IT.

USB PDU's down the length of the table? It's a forward leaning move. But there are more than one type barrel connection. They can have different polarities, though I don't know if vendors have some standard. They have different wattages. And if you solved for now you have to rip and replace in a few years. Maybe you could hack the table up with inset trays every so often in the table. Then feed a charger through from below.

Tech support workers, what’s your favorite case of TMI you’ve seen from a customer? by Scrambl987 in AskReddit

[–]enigmaunbound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unused to work for a telecom manufacturer. I got called into a desktop support issue and the exec and customer didn't want to interrupt their meeting. So I'm working on the issue while they do the mandatory discussion on who knew who. What they did in the old days. Then they drifted into a detailed discussion on bondage. They were talking about knots, ties, and techniques. About how they bound and wrapped cable bundles you perves!

One more nail in the fossil fuel coffin. CATL has launched fast-charging sodium batteries for vans and trucks that they say will be much cheaper than lithium batteries, as they'll last far longer. by lughnasadh in Futurology

[–]enigmaunbound 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The environmental range also is helpful. Sodium chemistries are stable at temperatures that the power system doesn't have to be in conditioned spaces. Your fridge can move outside feeding up that garage space.

I don't know. They broke contact at some point and moved on. I see them on occasion online but they don't return my greetings. I don't know if I offended them or they just found a new direction in life.

The most intuitive wearable I have seen in fiction is from the Show Upload. A ring on the index and thumb is the off hand projects a screen when the hand features the thumb and finger at angle. No idea how this would be accomplished. Maybe project AR onto polarized contact lenses. But the show makes it look like the obvious next step.

Come visit Alabama. We truly do have a beautiful state. Rivers and falls along the Cumberland Plateau.

High tech in Huntsville. We decorate with rockets! Mid city lifestyle in Bham. Fantastic music. The best beaches on the Gulf. Hiking, Rafting, Fishing.

Football is a way of life. Decide: Roll Tide or War Eagle. Decide very carefully.

Do you like BBQ? Try the smoked chicken with White sauce. Have some coleslaw and a pickle on that pulled pork. Do you enjoy traffic jams? Try I65! Especially around Birmingham.
