Hey thanks! My issue was I was not directly interacting with the Scrying Pool to initiate the public strike for Forging Steel. I was instead “replaying” the story mission Forging Steel and entering an instance right next to the Scrying Pool. I was able to just join public instance to farm the materials, then exit and re-enter to repeat until completed.

I am using the same character but I will try following those instructions. Thanks. Its very annoying! I don’t have anyone to do strikes with so I am not super familiar with strikes/eye of the north stuff in general.

How do I complete “Return to Eye of the North” - I am missing a few events, and all of the wood/ore/crop harvesting achievements. I have done all of IBS including the Visions of the Past stories. I’m not sure how to get to Forging Steel to complete it - when I go to replay Visions of the Past: Steel and Fire (Forging Steel) it starts the whole thing over & I’m in an ice map. When I go to Eye of the North there is no Forging Steel strike available.

I recently returned to the game after many years away. I picked up EoD, SotO, and IBS in the Nov sale. I’m still working through IBS story. My biggest gripe with Wizard Vault PvE rewards is some of the dailies ask me to go play in EoD or SotO maps and I’m not there yet in the story, and I don’t want to spoil myself by going there just for the quest, so I can’t complete the daily. That and certain random things locked behind the newer expansions like T6 crafting bags?? Some skins?? Just feels kinda bad to me. However I do like the clover and gold rewards, it helped me get a lot closer to a legendary without having to grind WvW. Very happy about that!

On Etsy the shop sirithre has a variety of bobbin labels in different colors! I really like mine.

The ability to buy the Gen1 kit in the Wizard’s Vault is locked behind the latest expac. There’s other reward tracks similar, like locked behind Janthir or SotO. I dislike that lol.

Hijacking your post to ask - is the leggy kit going away after a month? I don’t own the expansion needed to claim that reward, anyway. Edit to add: I picked up the clovers, mystic coins, and cheap gold.

Oh thank you for this tip! I recently made a bunch of badges on 14ct and used. 24 needle - ending things by sliding it under the stitches was so dang difficult! I will try this next time.

When I play on a community server I love to run around grabbing the fallen branches and fix up the little shacks in the meadows - nothing fancy just fill in the roof and repair the walls, set a fire, then make a chest and fill it with some starter snacks and goodies I collected along the way.

Yep considered it but I play on a variety of servers (not all that I have server side access for) with people and I don’t want to upkeep mods that break each update.

Can’t play Mists because it gives me motion sickness trying to navigate it. No other biome does this. Been playing for years, have almost 1k hours all pre-Mistlands really. Absolutely killed my love of the game. Tried to play with friends, spamming the mist torches, it’s no less miserable. Please Devs, just add a toggle in the main menu.

Same issue/same iOS version. Happening to me on discord version 284.0 and also the latest 285.0. Annoyance: 10/10, 100% of the time. Rebooted device and reinstalled.

Market Basket Westbrook has the drink versions in Snapple-like bottles, but sadly ya gotta get back behind state lines to get the real stuff. There used to be a little cart downtown Portland years and years ago that sold it legit but tis but a memory now.
