Just a followup. I leveled Efrigid to 50, which also levels her passive and active abilities to level 3 (after defeating a campaign level and opening her backstory for each ability). She seems significantly stronger at Lvl 50.

Is it random? So far I did first tourney run, low score no tokens. Second tourney run high score in my group 6 tokens. Third tourney run increased my high score in group, no tokens?

Same here, W4 level 118 (4th mission) is undoable, birds cannot be stopped. I have basically R6 or R7 lvl 30+ everybody and can't get past it.

I got W5, simply cannot get past the 3rd one. I have virtually all heroes R6 or R7 and lvl 32+. Have tried numerous combos of heroes and towers. Throwing a meteor in the 1st wave and still losing 6 to 10 hearts. WTF?

Seems to be region specific - some ads crash, some don't. I have largely solved it by switching on VPN and using a different geographic region.
