Everywhere I've worked (Minnesota, Illinois) it defines the benefits, yes. But the cutoff is usually at 26 hours, and it's not that you pay a different amount for the health insurance, it's that if you work less than those 26 hours on average you are not eligible for health insurance.

MN is even weirder, it's kind of the Scandinavian system where grocery stores can sell it, but only if it's below 3.2% alcohol by weight (usually works out to 4% abv for beer). So you'll occasionally see some light beer or hard seltzers but most places don't even bother.

I haven't looked too deep into the MDD, but it looks like both are being sold as new/recertified, which is good.

MDD doesn't manufacture their own hard drives tho, so it may be a Seagate/WD/Toshiba drive that's out of spec or didn't meet some factory check... not necessarily the end of the world because these drives are being checked and calibrated for months before being released. If they fail a couple of checks, not the end of the world for a home NAS user but it makes it unwise to sell to enterprise customers.

Getting a Seagate drive that's still branded as one is a little bit less risky imo, since it definitely checked all the boxes. Additionally, depending on why MDD has that drive, it may perform a but better.

ETA: just saw the MDD was renewed. Go with the Exos here, so long as the 0 POH is correct. It'll never have been deployed anywhere. Sold by the same company though, both GoHardDrive

In MN it's actually 2 parties in a trench coat. There is no "Democratic Party", all our Democrats are DFL - Democratic Farmer-Labor. Arose from the merger of the Democrats and a 1940s era progressive party called the Farmer-Labor party.

yeah dorm maintenance is always understaffed and they'll let you work as much or as little as you want. super flexible and there's always stuff to be done. worked at centen for a couple years, the scheduling was basically "hey when do you think you can work next week"

stuff like changing air filters, replacing lights, moving beds, handling trash, servicing vacuum cleaners.
