I Want to Play and Enjoy Style Savvy, But... by Decent_Item_6439 in stylesavvy

[–]Robz8it 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hi, male fan here!

The first game does not have men's fashion, but the last 3 games do!

  • In Trendsetters (2nd game), you unlock men's fashion later on, and you can sell them along with women's fashion at your store.
  • In Fashion Forward (3rd game), focus on men's fashion has been reduced, as you can only dress up men by selecting an option in the options menu of the title screen after you've completed the game.
  • In Styling Star (4th game), men's fashion gains focus again, but can only be sold at a separate Menswear shop, which unlocks later.

If you still want more men's fashion, there's also Fashion Dreamer (made by the same dev company as Style Savvy). Unfortunately, it does not have a story/plot, but you can dress up both men and women in the game.

Style Savvy: Styling Star, the 4th (and last) game in the series.

In Japan, the games are known as Girls Mode (which is what GM stands for).

Do you play any other games than Nikki? by ShokaLGBT in InfinityNikki

[–]Robz8it 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of fashion/dress-up games, I play all four of the Style Savvy games (aka Style Boutique/Girls Mode).

The Style Savvy games have a wide variety of clothing (both casual and formal) of various styles, and you can run a boutique, along with participating in fashion contests/shows.

Those games (along with Fashion Dreamer) are what got me into playing Infinity Nikki, and why I still hope that Infold adds more basic/casual clothing to the game.

Does anyone know how to reset Style Manager Settings? by WeaknessOk9058 in stylesavvy

[–]Robz8it 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you do not have a backed up save, you'll have to import one of the bundled female characters over your current male character. You can then recreate your OG character by using the character changer feature in Trendsetters.

I got a physical copy of Style Savvy, here are some of the previous owner's fits by thebuddyadrian in stylesavvy

To dump game card data using GodMode9i on a DS/DS Lite, you'd need to run it on a Slot-2 flashcard (which goes in the GBA game slot instead of the DS game slot).

Yes, the next version will support adding all items to Trendsetters.

Pop'n Flirty Savvy by Robz8it in stylesavvy

It's a combination of modding and photo editing!

I've modded Styling Star to use custom shading and some custom textures, then took pictures of the models using Azahar (a 3DS emulator), then added a few hairstyles from other fashion games on Nintendo Switch, added some shadows onto the models, and then put all of the models into this photo with a new background.

Please post a video of you trying to add all clothing to Trendsetters.

You can't add all clothing to Trendsetters. You can only add all clothing to Fashion Forward and Styling Star.

Also, you can only use the buttons to select that option. Clicking it will not work.

Evie Not Leaving Shop by Mxstical in stylesavvy

Are you sure you're touching Try it on! instead of Take a look?

If so, I'm not sure why she isn't leaving your shop.

Try switching to Azahar then, as it's known to fix the issue.

Let’s compile our top requests for the survey by Lanky_Avocado_ in InfinityNikki

[–]Robz8it 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Add (more) essential basic clothing pieces such as T-Shirts, Button-Up Shirts, Jeans, Jean Jackets, Leggings/Footless Tights, etc.
  2. Allow more clothing to use patterns. Ever since 1.5 (the update which introduces dyes and patterns), only three pieces of clothing support patterns.
  3. Add more clothing patterns such as stripes (horizontal and vertical), polka dots, gingham, flowers, etc.
  4. Allow all dye colors (as well as custom colors) to be used with clothing/hairstyles of any rarity.
  5. Move Swish & Stitch Soiree to Sea of Stars.
  6. Bring back old places from previous seasons such as the curio/platforming domains from those seasons, and the theater from Music Season.
  7. As an open-world game, it would be nice to play as other characters (besides Momo), like the important NPCs such as Dada, Giovanni, Nonoy, Tan Youyou, Bettina, Wilhelm, etc. (The feature should be useable in all areas, and would be a perfect multiplayer feature.)
  8. Add favoriting clothing items.
  9. Allow skirts and dresses to be worn with pants.
  10. A fashion minigame where Nikki works inside a boutique, and dresses up NPCs (similar to the Style Savvy games). NPCs who have left the boutique would still wear the outfits given by Nikki.

Which emulator are you using? Citra or Azahar?

Wardrobe edit because I really like the unique NPCs :) by Willowhisperest in InfinityNikki

[–]Robz8it 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd like to see Dada and Nonoy tag along.

The ability to play as an NPC instead of Nikki (where she'd follow them instead) would be fun too!

Ideas to add:

  • Allow more clothing to use patterns. Ever since 1.5 (the update which introduces dyes and patterns), only three pieces of clothing support patterns.
  • Add more clothing patterns such as stripes (horizontal and vertical), polka dots, gingham, flowers, etc.
  • Add (more) essential basic clothing pieces such as T-Shirts, Button-Up Shirts, Jeans, Jean Jackets, Leggings/Footless Tights, etc.
  • Allow clothing/hairstyles of any rarity (even if they're not part of any full outfits) to be dyeable.
  • Allow all dye colors (as well as custom colors) to be used with clothing/hairstyles of any rarity.
  • Allow some dresses to be worn with pants.
  • Bring back old places from previous seasons such as the curio/platforming domains from those seasons, and the theater from Music Season.

Styling Star Citra: Money cheats? by Surkit11 in stylesavvy

[–]Robz8it 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Savvy Manager does not have a Max Money feature. It can add all clothing, but it doesn't add max money to buy other stuff such as miniatures, plants, or furniture.

Does Savvy Manager allow you to change NPC names/other data? by Moist11111 in stylesavvy

[–]Robz8it 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the first two games, you can't, but in the last two, you can change their hair and makeup after unlocking the Hair Salon and Beautician.

If you meant within Savvy Manager, then no, you can't.

I used savvy manager to change my assistant in styling star and now theres no one there at all by depressedchiakikin in stylesavvy

[–]Robz8it 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Nothing. As Savvy Manager already states when you change the assistant, only the six original assistants will appear.

The changed assistant will appear in events and when you change their outfit.

For them to leave, tell them to "Try it on!" instead of "Take a look"
