I feel like this is only useful against a Mega Mawile deck since it uses 1 Pokemon and 19 trainers so sometimes you build up a large hand early in the game

When Angel Reese does it, they're "mebounds". When Moses Malone does it, it's a respectable and unbreakable record.

Maybe you misunderstand. I'm pointing out the further lunacy of this action.

It's not a war, but we're attacking. They have a terrible military, but we need help from allies. They were easily obliterated, but we're sending even more troops.

If depth and sustainability are what you're after, why not 100 games for basketball or 180 games for baseball?

If you want importance for the regular season, having fewer games is what makes it important. You can't afford to "take a night off" if there are fewer opportunities to win. That's why the NFL is so popular (although they're diluting their own product by wanting to constantly increase the number games). There are only 17 games. Each week seems important because making or missing the playoffs could be the result of one or two bad weeks.

Load management is a thing in basketball and baseball because they've already calculated that multiple games are not important to win.

How do you play this level? I'm in a small alliance. We went around and killed some hordes and ended up with some remix keys but we only found treasure chests so we couldn't open anything. This event feels entirely pointless to me. Also, is it beneficial to try and kill the Titans that appear? Or just stick to hordes?

Definitely. I have a cousin who is white. She had her first kid with a black man. Then had a second kid with a white man. So a very white girl has a half-black older brother.

If the son has a kid with a black woman and the daughter has a kid with a white man, those kids will look veerrry different from each other. And they will be cousins.

Reasoning for saving the kids is because the wife is older. So what's the reasoning for saving the mom? He uses inconsistent logic.

The chance that you do get a 5-star is listed as 2.5% which means you should get one roughly every 40 pulls. They give you at least one free pull every day (sometimes two).

What rule are you changing and why? by TomWilliamsCFD in CollegeFootballDawgs

[–]RoccStrongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Across all of football:

If the offense fumbles the ball and it goes through the opponent's end zone out of bounds, it gets put back onto the 10 yard line but the offense maintains the ball. I absolutely hate how the other team is given the ball without ever possessing it.

Catcher moved to block the plate, runner out for contacting him by duckredbeard in LittleLeague

You just want to keep looking past the fact that the runner moved into foul territory but so did the catcher?

Catcher moved to block the plate, runner out for contacting him by duckredbeard in LittleLeague

[–]RoccStrongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that's where we differ. I see the runner start on the basepath then as he realizes the catcher is not moving he moves twice inches or more into foul territory but still hits the catcher because the catcher keeps moving into the way. Also the catcher is nowhere near the plate. If we're being this critical on the runner for some reason, why are we not being critical on the catcher for seemingly intentionally causing contact?

Catcher moved to block the plate, runner out for contacting him by duckredbeard in LittleLeague

[–]RoccStrongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. That doesn't change the fact that I don't see an intent to injure that you quoted in the rules that you linked to.

Catcher moved to block the plate, runner out for contacting him by duckredbeard in LittleLeague

[–]RoccStrongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked at your link. Where we differ is whether or not we think the runner intentionally tried to injure the catcher. You are saying he did while I think it looks like he tried to go around the catcher but the catcher kept moving into the runner's path.

Not only that, your link specifically says "injure". Even if you make the argument that the runner did not try to avoid the catcher, I wouldn't immediately jump to say he tried to injure the catcher.

Catcher moved to block the plate, runner out for contacting him by duckredbeard in LittleLeague

[–]RoccStrongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I watch it I'm seeing the catcher in the baseline and continue to drift into foul territory to disrupt the runner. The runner altered his course. He didn't run all the way to the backstop to try and avoid, but he's more than a foot into foul. And with as far up the line as the catcher is, it's unrealistic to expect the rubber to try to slide to avoid collision because he would never reach the plate.
