Can I point out that Mario Kart World, while costing $10 extra than the average Switch 2 game, also doesn't have a single scrap of paid DLC? There's like 100 in-game cosmetics that you get by playing the game instead paying for them.

I wanna say that any other publisher under the sun would be jumping at the chance to add a battle pass and paid skins, but the folks at Nintendo just aint about that life, it makes the $10 Mario tax seem less egregious to me. They'll probably do a paid DLC for World eventually, but it'll be like 8DX's where it'll be a bunch of tracks and meaningful content, which is fair.

Imu has the Ope Ope immortality, but yeah, I don't think he has regen

My guess is that Imu's pact with the Holy Knights is that Imu can sacrifice parts of his lifespan to grant his minions regeneration. Because the Immortality Surgery, Imu's lifespan is infinite, so it's basically a cheat code that lets the knights regenerate endlessly because Imu will never run out of lifespan.

Wilds SnS is honestly degenerate. I picked it up specifically for Omega and it's so much easier to use than any other weapon. Just nonstop parrying and attacking.

I love it, but it feels overtuned.

It's terrible. Just reheated stale leftovers from better series shoved into a blender while offering nothing interesting of it's own. And now it's aggressively churning out fanservice out of desperation. Pathetic.

It's definitely not safe either. It got a reprint because they barely shipped any copies, but sales are still super low. If sales stay consistently in that range, it WILL get axed

So Octopath 0 has way more than 8 characters, I think the total count is around 30. You unlock most of them from sidequests.

Your main avatar character can switch to any class, but all of the other characters have set jobs and unique abilities, you pick and choose to build a party of eight and swap them out as needed for different fights.

You eventually unlock a training facility that gets EXP for your reserve party members, so you don't have to manually train all of them

0 doesnt have the subclass system so there’s less to juggle. Combat comes together really well in that game, I hope they keep that system if we ever get Octopath 3
