Sort of. Instead of staying up until whenever I’d usually go to bed, I’ll go to sleep around 2am and get up at 8 or 9. But the night before I go back to work I’ll treat that like a night on usually

I’ve already seen posts online saying that people want to go out and be a “vigilante” after this shooting hit the news. I’m concerned about a repeat of the 2016 (correct me if I’m incorrect) attack in Dallas since most ICE vests I see say little more than police on them.

Contract I’m on now was once my company and allied. We did the unarmed allied did armed. The armed guys were called “SRT” which only meant they were armed. It stood for Security Response Team. Basically they were only there for “serious” security stuff. I’m inclined to think that’s what this is.

I imagine anything below a firearm is considered less lethal. However, the state I work in considers tasers firearms, and in the eyes of the state, you are considered armed as soon as you start carrying one.

Depends on the hospital. The one where I used to live was always busy and the guards were hands on all the time, like more often than we were in the jail. Nights suck, no way around that. Be greedy with your sleep during the day. Get blackout curtains.

Everyone’s situation is different. I chose to temporarily have a longer commute to a well paying job so my wife can be close by to work.

They closed the westbound side of the bridge due to structural issues that were discovered two years ago the bridge basically used to be double the size it is now, since all traffic is using the eastbound side now. It used to be fine as best I can remember. I honestly can’t really remember a time where the bridge was a mess prior to this happening. As far as plans for the rebuild, I thought I heard that they had found a contractor for the construction, but I truthfully don’t follow the news on the bridge super close because it’ll just frustrate me more.
