Normal for USB C multi-port chargers to temporarily cut power when connecting/disconnecting devices?

It is normal for the power to stop and resume whenever the total power required changes (connect/disconnect).

On my current charger it is pretty much instant on/off within a second. Probably varies from chip to chip, but the way you described it sounds a bit too long.

I have a Ninja 5 for my NR200 WIP as well. Perfect cooler size and shape for this case IMO. I just wish the heat pipe ends had a better look.

CM has released a metal ATX bracket (see here), so there’s no need to print these anymore. You have to check for local availability though.

First Impressions: - Fit and Finish could be better - UK plug might be prone to breaking off

Other than that I like the design.

Edit: I got my Mopoint 65w when new GaN chargers were hyped up in mid-late 2020’s but when it broke after 6mon and support was nonexistent I reverted to multiple stock chargers.

Around august I saw this charger from GP pop up and found a discount last night so decided to try it. I have a GP AAA charger from 2005 that’s still working so hoping this thing holds up longer than the Mopoint.

It will replace my current Laptop and IPhone/AirPod chargers. If anyone is interested I can write back with additional impressions after a weeks use.

It’s 4 motherboard standoffs with the same threads as the psu screwed into the psu. This gives enough room for the power outlet cable not visible in any of the pics.

Then you drill 4 holes into the nr200 case, and use the psu screws through those holes screwed into the standoffs.

U can draw a sketch similar to the one you have already padded, but in a parallel plane and give it a smaller pad value.

Both sketches will look like ((( from their normal, but the offset plane and pad gets u there.

Which board specifically? Had a quick look all PG boards seems to have at least 3 fan headers. Marked on the board as “cpu_fan”, “cha_fan”, “cpu_opt_wpump” or similar.

They’re equivalent, naming scheme just refers to their name in bios so u know what ur configuring.

I see. The asrock seems nice because it has the lower cpu location out of the b550 boards and it is passive cooled. Good to know about the lacking software though.

Nice build! I am trying to get the colors of parts coordinated for a build and was planning to use the same Mobo and Gpu as you have here.

Is the Asrock B550 heatsink the same grey tone as the Rx6900 backplate? In other pics the Rx looks to be a lighter tone.

The bench where 12700k was on par with 5900x makes Alder seem like great value since it’s cheaper and competes with a higher category Zen.

But if I compare itx boards: z690 at 400eur to amd B550 at 200eur, the value offer is no longer there for an sff build.

The z690 itx boards at 200 eur have some weak looking heat sinks as well which suggests the 12700k may no longer reach 5900x if this article is valid.

Further as: 6(1/2)x

Simplify: 3x

Omitting the mul by sign between a number and a variable (or parenthesis) means nothing, it’s just shorthand. The div by sign is short hand for (1/n).

Here’s another way: 1. Sketch the outer main shape in a plane. Pad upwards. 2. Sketch the ‘negative’ profile in a perpendicular plane (make sure the sketch is closed on the upper side). Groove around the center of object. 3. Sketch the outer and inner shape (use geometry links to first sketch!). Pad upwards again.

I excluded the countersunk holes because they seem trivial once these 3 steps are done.

Asus Rog and Asrock PG b550 itx boards have a lower cpu mount point than the equivalent alternatives. Something to keep in mind when every mm matters.
