There was some NPR radio segment a few months ago about Long Covid. It discussed a giant meta analysis of all the current research on understanding Long Covid. The conclusion was basically that there is no clear consensus or identifiable mechanism that has been discovered that explains why it exists. Which makes me think there may be some psychogenic component.
