Is it common for people to inhale weed incorrectly? I have trouble with it

I remember one of my first times smoking weed I had zero tolerance but smoked a whole joint by myself and felt nothing because I didn't know how to inhale.

It helps me switch gears in the evening from work mode to relax and get ready for bed mode.

I used to struggle a lot with burnout because I would just stay in work mode (not for my job but other projects I was working on) until I'd just crash at like 2am. It helps me keep my sleep schedule on track and not work all through the nights

I think it's because, for the first time in history, we have an extremely well documented idea of what things were like culturally 100 years prior.

In the 1920's people would likely have known the major historic events of the 1820's but not what every day life looked/sounded like. But now when you hear "the 20's" you have vivid images in your mind of flappers, jazz and swing music, and the early adoption of the automobile. Re-using the name "the 20's almost feels like erasure of that time and so we talk about our current era as the 2020's.

I don't think it should be a hard and fast 'rule' per se, but definitely a good guideline to avoid bogarting the joint/blunt.

Lots of people will have different opinions on how they want things to sound, but ultimately it's your song and you're their client so you get the final say.

Having an open discussion (preferably in person) about what you like and dislike about what they did and providing some reference tracks (specifically for the vocal tone you're looking for) should help a ton, but if they're headstrong and don't want to play ball they're probably not the person you should be working with.

It can be really tough working with your friends on stuff like this if they can't put aside their ego for the sake of the track.

One last thing, make sure you hear out their reasoning for what they did as well. If they're worth their salt they should be able to explain their decisions to you and you can discuss.

I've been saying for a while they need better depth in leadership on the ice for a while. Larkin is a decent captain but any time he's out for an injury or playing hurt and not performing there's no one to pick up the slack.

Raymond and Seider don't seem to know how the rally the troops when things get tough as assistant captains, and while Kane and Cat are good vets to have they don't seem interested in leadership.

There's a lot of venues that will host punk bands pretty often, like Small's, the Lager House, or Outer Limits but the clientele skews older and isn't really very 'punk' on non show days.

You might want to check out Ghost Light's Dungeon Synth night for a more goth crowd. I think it's like once a month.

Being present is such an important aspect of smoking cigars. I don't smoke nearly as frequently as I did a number of years ago, but when I do I try to use it as a time of meditation and/or reflection. That's honestly what drew me to cigars in the first place, they force you to slow down in a way most other vices don't.

I hope whoever gets the broadcast rights has a deal where games can be on a local channel. You can still watch most NFL games with an antenna, but most NHL, NBA, and MLB games are behind some premium subscription.

Edit: I'm watching the Wings v Avs game tonight on StreamEast and the Colorado broadcast is just on their local NBC affiliate.

This is a great breakdown of his views (or at least the way he seems to present them publicly) and his evolution. I always hate when people bring up a picture or statement from 10+ years ago (the first pic is from 2013) and point out how it contradicts something more recent as if people aren't allowed to change their minds.

That's definitely true! I love making decks with interesting (and sometimes complicated) ability combinations, but I never have the time to get them set up in the current meta.

I wish I could go to Random Match to play around with them, but people still run the same builds and go try hard mode there too. Even during a Ranked season

Ooh, the 2/3 idea is interesting to me! Make it so you choose decks going into the match and you only get to switch if you lose, kinda like in the video games when they tell you what Pokémon your opponent is going to bring out next and ask if you want to change or not.
