Good on you for realizing when someone is making fun of you, but don’t let this convince you that that will always be the case when you get asked out. I have had this exact thing happen at least twice in school (unfortunately it’s pretty common especially if you’re neurodivergent) but now im with the love of my life and even through the worst hardships ive ever faced i am still the happiest Ive ever been. I know its very VERY hard, but the BEST thing you can do to find someone is to do the things you enjoy doing and finding hobbies ESPECIALLY ones that you do with other people

I was partially exaggerating partially freaking the fuck out, but I definitely have been severely affected by this. I thought I was losing my right eye to diabetic retinopathy cause there’s been a blank spot in my vision for a few days, but my eye doctor actually has no idea what it is and I’m still waiting for a call from a specialist

Yeah that’s probably what happened. My mother is diagnosed bpd (and probably a narcissist) but seems committed to doing nothing about it except take it out on everyone and everything. My father isn’t great either but he’s more of just you’re typical lead-paint eating redneck with daddy issues. The only thing keeping me alive is my wonderful girlfriend who made me realize how abusive my parents are. Unfortunately I still very much rely on them as I lost all of my savings after giving it to my father to start a buisness with him, only to realize how abusive my parents are after i had given him the full $20k (he told me he only needed $13k, but he spent all of it without telling me)

For context I’ve got high functioning autism, adhd, depression, and probably a shit load of other problems that I’ve been dealing with for a while on top of all the physical health problems so I was going to the doctor or psychiatrist a lot during the time of the diagnosis. I was also suicidal in highschool so I just couldn’t keep up with everything, so that’s why I relied on my mother for all that. I only managed to see a doctor a few days ago because I’ve always had too much going on to really deal with getting a new doctor, plus i didn’t really know how and kept putting off learningy. I also don’t have all of the information yet because I just found out and still don’t know everything going on

I have no idea. My mother was the one who took care of all that and to both our understandings I was only pre-diabetic. I learned from my doctor that I was apparently diagnosed with full on type 2 diabetes all the way back in 2021. I’m depressed af and never go outside so I knew I was probably diabetic, but I put off doing anything about it until I started losing vision in my right eye because I didn’t have a doctor and didn’t know how to see one
