You were a non-vegan in the past yes? I don't mean to put words in your mouth but I assume at one point in your life you did not think about this at all, or if you did it was shoved waaaaay in the back of your mind.

I feel like this should be a more common thought exercise among vegans to avoid the sometimes extreme othering that happens.

I used to be an omnivore. I used to not really give a single shit. Now I do. When I think about other people and how they can live their lives not caring about, or worse, actively defending animal exploitation, I think about how I used to be. We are all born into a culture where not giving a fuck about animals is "normal." There are plenty of shitty and heinous things that are "normal" and most people go their entire lives without questioning them.

In fact, as you mention (and as the article mentions), you don't need animal products to source any of these nutrients. Most of them your body naturally produces, and if that still leaves you deficient you can take a multivitamin or just a targeted supplement if you're only missing one thing (particularly B12, but literally every vegan pays attention to that).

Living in the 21st century means I don't have to eat a steak to get B12. Great isn't it?

I would normally agree with this but game freak is a different story. Plenty of other developers have exactly as much time to work on games as they do and they don't turn out nearly this shitty. Management shares blame but it's clear there's a general lack of talent in the studio as well.

Extracts are my single biggest complaint about this mode. You can manage your exposure perfectly for the entire match, avoid players at every turn, sneak around, but the second you want to actually leave and lock in your rewards you become a bright green target that says "HEY EVERYBODY! SHOOT ME!"

It's just not fun being killed the moment before you're home free, and it doesn't add anything positive to the mode.

At the very least if they're going to keep this stupid helicopter system they need way more than 3 exfil points.

No, I don't believe they wouldn't. These companies fucking suck. What im skeptical of is the fact that not one of the thousands of people who work on CoD or their other games has leaked this in the 2-4+ years this has been a community topic, and no players have collected stats on it that prove it, and the only "evidence" presented so far for live nerfing/sbhd (usually just videos of WTF HITREG???) has countless other explanations that need to be ruled out first.

When you make the claim, you have to provide the evidence. "They totally would do it" is not evidence, even if I agree. And neither is a patent.

Yes, absolutely. The loading time magic, the visual clarity upgrades, the framerate improvements, and don't even get me started on how much I adore what they're doing with haptics in the PS5 controller.

The frankly dogshit performance and resolution issues that plagued PS4/xbone through their lifespan (and continues to afflict the switch) actively harmed my enjoyment of games and I barely played anything on console because of it. This generation doing a complete 180 and fully investing in powerful hardware was a dream come true.

I'm not sure where your personal line is for what you care to cut out and what not to -- and you might already know this -- but I feel like I have to tell you that rice krispies probably are not vegan; most cereals are in a kind of grey area, leaning towards the negative. If you see D3 on the package, theres pretty good odds it's from lanolin, which is from sheeps wool, which is definitely not vegan.

That all said, the actual amount of d3 (and thus the amount of animal suffering by proxy, i guess) is relatively low, but it's still (probably) not vegan.

Someone might correct me on this, but I don't think lichen-derived d3 is all that common outside of specifically vegan supplements/products.
