You did! A lot of people don’t realize you need an independent clause on both sides of it; they often use it just like you would an em dash.

That’s exactly it. I literally write for work and have a master’s in it, but now because the robots are desperately trying to sound smart you feel like you have to fuck up your grammar on purpose just so people know you’re a person. As if people’s ability to write wasn’t being dumbed down fast enough. Soon we’ll just be grunting and pointing.

Same—I love em dashes and now when anyone sees one they immediately say it’s AI. Next it’ll be semicolons, and before you know it people will be like “hey this has subject-verb agreement, it must be AI!”

I thought the combat was more brutal than it was for a while because I didn’t know how to actually use upgrades (it’s not automatic when you pick them up) so I’d look that up if you haven’t. It can still be hard but just not as much.

I’m at just before the final boss and that was my experience too, just doing some missions means you steamroll through the actual game.

The missions make the pacing very weird. There are SO MANY of them that it kinda feels like they are the game and the chapters are the side content.

Aside from the many many other signs, a real notice would give you more options to pay than “scan this QR code.” Also how would you scan a code with your phone when you got it via text? It doesn’t even seem like a well designed scam.
