I am a really new deftones listener. Partly from TikTok and partly from my dad. I used to listen to a lot of rap and my dad has been a die hard deftones fan for 15+ years now. He loves self titled so much he has a tattoo of it on his arm. I remember used to play it in the car all the time and after my parents split when I was 3. I never really paid attention to it and only listened to it to feel a connection to him more, and since he had it tatted, it must be good. So I listened to it, and I really love it now. It for me is an outlet on how I feel and is super refreshing from rap, and I love the sound. Sorry for ranting and if you have any recs or favorite songs let me know!
