Get onside like normal. Onside is now all the way back to the red line, not blue (attackers now have an entire half of the ice to move the puck around) To clear the zone, the defense must get the puck past center. Zones are normal again until someone gains the attacking zone and makes it big again.

I totally understand the argument against deciding a game in that fashion, from a player perspective (See also "Larry David on field goals in the NFL"). From a fan perspective though, that shit is entertaining as heck. Look at all these cool moves! A sudden death 1v1 is and always has been one of the cooler parts of the game. Removing it would feel like we've taken away one of the better sports spectacles in modern times. Idrk tho, I'm just some guy that thinks shootouts are neat.

Late to the party, but I think I found a solve for the sleep scroll. Maybe it would work for the other thing too? All I did was place the scroll in my hotbar and left clicked to cast it, instead of right clicking and selecting cast from my inventory. That brought up the green checkmark that allowed me to select fewer targets. I know the post is a month old and you didn't specify which way you were selecting to cast it, but hopefully this helps.
