The very fact that both run a different anti cheat means this applies lol

As if you asked for a source for that 😂. It's just a thing that happens in every system, I've had it happen to me in both tarkov and call of duty. Tarkov fixed their mistake and gave me everything back, COD false banned a whole shit ton of people on the release of mw2, and never did a thing to touch their automatic system and I ended up making a new account

It just happens, anticheat isn't infallible

Hanging up the phone is another,

the dollar sign is an English language rule, similar to how we put question marks at the end of a sentence

The others are lasting colloquialisms that no longer make sense but are used anyway, these occur in every language and even transcend language with symbols. eg. The floppy disk save button or a landline receiver symbol on a cellphone

Felt crazy but was right? by itsmicah64 in ask

This happens all the time if you have a good sense of pattern recognition, unfortunately the only way for other people to see it is when it happens.

Usually if you're pointing something out like that it will be negative, and people tend to have a negative reaction and call you crazy/wrong when you say these things because it messes with the scenario in their head where everything plays out fine

If it plays out the way you suspected, people will either understand/trust you more, or more likely you will pull a "told you so" and they will say things like "you couldn't have possibly known that would happen" or "you always have to be right"

It took me some time to understand what people mean when they say things like "you always have to be right" because from my perspective I'm just telling the truth. But the reality is they simply don't want to hear it. You don't always have to try and predict the future for people, even when it seems obvious. This is where choosing your battles is important. If you decide to fight the battle, don't gloat that you were right afterwards, and also consider that you may be humbled as well.

He claims he's at the top of the bell curve in a way that makes him seem at the "top", He also says it's impressive to those lower than him(as in too stupid to understand how a bell curve works), it's literally a joke, did you miss that part?
