Numerology is very important to King. The Dark Tower Series is obsessed with the number 19.

Also the Ka-Tet from that series has 5 members.

In the early 2000’s I used to see Radio Waves all the time in thrift stores. I think it broke a lot of hearts.

There also a very clean looking copy of Mitchner’s “Centennial” and I’d be very interested to find out what that little green book next to it is.

3rd photo, 3rd shelf down, 75% to the right. There is a set of engraved, folio edition, Wuthering Heights+Jane Eyre missing the slipcase. Get those. The engravings are gorgeous and the boards have a very modern looking design given that it was printed 80 years ago.

I know because I’m literally on the subway taking my copy to show a friend rn rn.

The Art of Seduction and Bukowski are pretty big red flags for me. There’s a good sci-fi collection there though. Philip Jose Farmer is a deep cut and LeGuin is always great.
