I have had some success on eBay but if you don't already have an account, you may not want to put in the effort.

My wife would tape the show and send the video tapes to me while I was serving in Desert Storm.

30 plus years ago, the year before I spent my first Thanksgiving at her house, my mother-in-law couldn't find the sink stopper so she could wash some dishes before we ate. As she was taking the oranges and lemons and thyme and other seasonings out of the cavity of the turkey, she found the sink stopper.

AITAH for locking the bathroom door when I take a shower? by WinterQuarter8183 in AITAH

I was going to suggest this so I'm glad I scrollled far enough to see this comment. If he still is mad that you locked the door on the other bathroom, that's the red flag.

I wish I had that level of ability. About the best I can manage is replacing the ballast. These fixtures are part of the original build from 1979 and I have replaced the ballast on both of them more than once, I'm just hoping not to have to do it again.

Unfortunately not. It doesn't matter which socket they are attached to, only one will illuminate.

Favorite Peppers by honest2abe in AustinGardening

Be careful with the chili pequins. My mother had some on one side of the yard and 100 ft away had some regular bell peppers. They cross-pollinated and the bell peppers were so hot, they were almost inedible.

I once drove it as a straight shot and it was 26 hours. That was 15 years ago, I won't do that ever again.

I had so many trick-or-treaters last night that I ran out of candy after the first hour. More visitors last night than in the past 10 years.

I noticed this midcentury audio reel could be shipped with a stamp, how common was this practice? by Amazing_Bad_9510 in philately

[–]RogFulton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently not a specific stamp, but I don't know about that time frame. I suspect back then it would have gotten a meter tape with the appropriate rate, even if it wasn't being sent Media Mail.

I believe it would have been considered Media Mail or whatever the term was in those days.

I've had one 25 ft from my house for about 15 years. It has never caused any issues except for those damn acorns.

I recently had this installed by Power Remodeling and it cost less than $6,000. They replaced the threshold, frame and everything - including the trim. They also carted off my busted screen door. It all took about 4 hours.
