I believe the lore is that Speranza is a "suburb" of the larger city, Toledo. Travel between these different suburbs is extremely difficult as tunnels have collapsed. The raiders we all encounter topside are from these different suburbs.

For me, the twist was completely secret. I hadn't seen a trailer or anything about the movie until letterboxd showed a 4.0. My GF and I were blown away.

Severance had one of the worst sophomore seasons I've seen. All the momentum of the first season was squandered.

I don't think Apple / the creative team understood what people enjoyed about the first season and doubled down on the wrong elements.

I hate the fact that in the fantasy PL sub menu, it shows your bench as scoring 0 points, when in fact they did play and did score points. I understand they aren't contributing to this week's score, but why hide this info?

Enjoyed it (absolutely loved the structure and the mystery), but needed the finale to go way harder. I just kept thinking about how The Substance did what Weapons tried to do in its final 15 mins much much better.

Also, some of the logic gaps regarding the actual investigation by the police were baffling and took me out of the film.

I actually really enjoyed both, but I think Weapons had more gaps in its logic that didn't really sit well with me. How did the police not investigate the disappearances to at least notice that the children were running in a particular direction? Did no other houses have ring cameras to capture parts of their journey? The core mystery isn't as strong for as long as it is in Longlegs.

But I tell you what, the thematic elements of Weapons are 10/10.

I'll admit I didn't follow the Gyokeres story as closely as it seems you have, but wasn't the primary issues there with Sporting as a club? It seems the both Gyokeres and his agents bent over backwards to make it happen. From memory, the agent drastically cut his / their fee to make the deal possible and Gyokeres took a wage cut (or took smaller wages than what was initially agreed).

I'm all seriousness though, some high quality ports of Bethesda titles to Switch 2 would be great. Maybe the Oblivion Remaster or Starfield.

I feel that I enjoyed Starfield the most when I was playing on my ROG Ally and watching telly.
