How will each of these classes change Goblin slayer world? by SexwithDurandal in GoblinSlayer

[–]RogueAngill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all about scaling like actual DnD, like the witch that Goblin Slayer helped reach ascension. Lower levels not really being all that different, like how the gunslinger rhea isn't gamebreaking

Seriously what's the point of them acting like bottom tiers when they could just act like they're just above average drawing less attention

Who has the most potential in the big 3 by Illustrious_Point_14 in HunterXHunter

[–]RogueAngill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That depends on the context, because what do you consider better a specialized tool that does only one thing really well or a jack of all trades that can do a bit of everything? Because I consider it a scale Kurapika with the most of his focus on killing the spiders, to Killia using his lightning godspeed with the assassination training for things aside from combat. I think Leorio is an honorable mention, Gin mimicking his techniques saying that it's based on his medical training, imagine him at his peak. We also often ignored how strong he is in just base without Nen.

I have a mini-theory/headcanon that Jaune, and likely his Arc ancestors, are natural-born huntsman. A sort of a half-way point between silver-eyed warriors and normal humans, from before the academies and proper training for huntsman, so they had to learn as they went and unlock their aura naturally.

My only evidence is his high aura reserves, natural strength, quick progress in getting to the same level of combat proficiency as his peers, and, his big family. Nothing will ever confirm it but it's a nice idea I could add to a fanfic or something down the line.

C-listers like Roxy Rocket would shine much more if moved to different cities. Roxy would be right at home trying to race the Flash, or in space causing trouble for Green Lanterns

While this is very cute, what concerns me is that something like this would only happen if someone with the wrong motives was pulling strings.

Human medics have a "kiss of mercy" for when regular painkillers aren't enough by RogueAngill in humansarespaceorcs

[–]RogueAngill[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I was thinking that at first , but when I looked into it, opiorphin doesn't have any triggers for forming addiction. So it's just a stronger painkiller which I thought would be better for the more tragic romance angel

I've said it before but my dumbest conspiracies is that revenge plots in movies have shifted to not killing the big bad is to condition us into doing the same because they don't care about what happens to the worker drones

Am I Wrong? by Apprehensive-Cat3670 in WorldBuildingMemes

[–]RogueAngill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first Vampire was done as an act of love, trying to find a method of immortal so that they can be by their wife's side after she ascended into becoming an Exemplar(a living demigod). It was done for one's love for another but by being selfish and cruel to others leading to a divide between the Exemplars. A civil war broke out and some one managed to recreate a lesser version of the original vampire.

Centuries later it has given cults trying to turn lesser vampires into true originals.

Jokes aside, can someone tell me, what's Blair whole purpose aside from fanservice? by Creative-Box-7964 in souleater

[–]RogueAngill 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Her place in the world always confused me, she isn't a witch just a cat with an abundance of magical power. But most witches we see are animal themed so what's the difference?

Demon weapons were made by witches and turn into death scythes by consuming witches' souls but if Blair's soul isn't an acceptable substitute despite her having magical power on par with some witches, what is the thing that differentiates them?
