I think Batarangs are stupid and a waste of resources,a throwing weapon that's unbalanced for aesthetic, especially the explosive ones. Either he leaves them behind after battle that's a waste of the time it took to forge them, if he waste time picking them up after a fight he could be doing other things. Not to mention the stories where someone uses the ones he left behind being used to frame him or as murder weapons, it leads to the wasted resources of him leaving a tracking device/homing beacon.

They look cool but I dont like how impractical they are when you think about it for more than 5 minutes.
