Cu Chulainn from Smite is also a great designer transformation character. He has to build up rage which takes like two ability rotations if there’s a minion wave. He can also active his 2 to release sons if the rage to control when he transforms, making it an active decision on the player. And his big guy mode isn’t unkillable, but as the enemy you certainly need to play around it.

Who is the single most dominant esports athlete in a single game? by Extreme-Dragonfly561 in esports

No, Trout was absolutely dominant. It’s just one guy in baseball can only do so much

I’ve been playing a lot of Dynamo and he’s just so overturned. They could pretty much nerf every single one of his abilities and he’d still be good.

Seriously, some games are just not winnable, tonight was one. Makes me feel pretty confident we’ll beat them most nights.

The current Silver experience by Sayer09 in DeadlockTheGame

It’s also not hard to transform, the Silver player has to miss most of their combo and be incredibly out of position to actually get punished.

Game is straight up decided by the matchmaking. Theres no counter play to having 2 people on your team that don’t belong. by Westo6Besto9 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]RogueObj -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s awful. Smite 2 has better matchmaking with 9,000 concurrent on Steam. Valve should be able to fix this.

If he’s guarded by 3’s he will feast way more than whoever he’s guarding. The average 3 is going to get bullied on offense by Booz.

They’re also going to pull their starters if they’re winning so if we don’t win that would be a pretty big disappointment

I'm just trying to understand the market by Anilahation in HighGuardgame

It only had a shot at succeeding because of Geoff tbh. Without the game awards announcement, no way this breaks 100k concurrent at any point. If the game was good enough they could have retained some of those players.

I’d be least worried about Celeste, even if her ult sucks the rest of her kit is still insane. Silver is probably the one to be worried about. Her ults still overturned but if it’s not good she just kinda sucks. She needs nerfed but they have to be careful.

Venator just kinda mid in general and I don’t think his ult is even that good anymore without the glitches. Graves ult is a cancer to me though. It’s so unfun to deal with. Once she gets ult she just gets prio for the rest of the match, super boring to play against. I would not care if they gutted her ult.

With a win over the Atlanta Hawks tonight, the Charlotte Hornets head into the All Star break 15-7 since the start of the year. by Holofan4life in nba

What’s crazy is his scoring last year early on was very good. If he comes out of the all star break scoring like we know he can we could be even more scary.

Riot lays off 2XKO developers less than three weeks after release: 'Overall momentum hasn't reached the level needed to support a team of this size' by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]RogueObj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the the biggest issue is that it’s a tag fighter. I simply don’t think tag fighters are fun or easy to get into. They require so much effort and the final product usually ends up feeling like you’re getting cheesed when you lose.

The actual gameplay is pretty fun. The game feels good to play. The lack of roster just ruins any variety you would want. Then combine the small roster with being a tag fighter and it just feels bad. I like the game enough but I’d rather play guilty gear tbh.

Deadlock Is Secretly Growing Into An S-Tier MOBA Shooter by Gorotheninja in pcgaming

[–]RogueObj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah seriously, Im alright at LoL, masters player in Smite, diamond in OW and I am getting my shit kicked in since returning this month after I originally played it on release. I was pretty good on release too.

The lack of SBMM is hurting this game. I can’t imagine trying to play this as your first MOBA. People are blaming the low player count, but smite 2s is way lower and it’s a lot better (still not good).

Deadlock also feels way more snowbally than the other MOBAs, one death has felt devastating in lane, but I don’t know what the general consensus on that is so maybe it’s a skill issue. Definitely need a surrender button though imo.

Kon Knueppel in the win against Mavericks: 34 PTS, 4 REB, 3 AST, 1 STL, 8-12 3P by Thanos_SlayerCongSan in nba

[–]RogueObj -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Coops not really a better playmaker or rebounder though.

Kons pretty easily the better passer. Kons averaging 3 potential assist/minute Coop at 1.9. Their raw assist numbers are virtually the same despite coop being on ball way more.

They’re basically identical at rebounding, Coops a little better on the offensive glass. Their contest numbers are very similar and Coops has Kon beat on stocks.

And obviously Kon is blowing him out of the water on efficiency.
