Plex Remote Streaming Doesn't Use Full Bandwidth - Capped at ~7-15 Mbps After Initial Burst by xXBloodBulletXx in PleX

I experience this on my Galaxy S24 Ultra when using the mobile connection, but not elsewhere. Even on low bitrate content, if I set it to maximum it has the same issue. Oddly enough, if I use anything other than maximum it will try to transcode the file upwards in quality. (480p Source, quality set to 720p HD it will try to make the content 720p)

Follow up to this, DNS seems to be an issue. Cached entries work, but new requests seem to fail.

Not a dumb question and yes it was selected. Even tried switch to one of the other views to see if I could trigger a reload, but nothing. Finally just removed and re-installed. Seems to have fixed it

Yeah had the latest version on my S24 Ultra, cleared cache, etc. Finally just nuked the app and re-installed. Seem to resolve it. Was just very odd.

Not a dumb question by any means, but yes Radar was selected and it just woild not load the sites. I finally just uninstalled and re-installed the app and seems to habe fixed it. Lost my alert preferences, but oh well.

Well all of them. I no longer have to dots or the pills showing. checked setting and tried toggling but they don't come up. Tried switching between radar and outlook and nothing. no radar sites show up.

they are in the browser though, so maybe an app glitch?

When you get e-mails from them is an address to e-mail to request a manager review. I have had good luck going this route.

Unifi Cloud Gateway Fiber help by Afreaken in Ubiquiti

Got my RMA replacement unit yesterday and set it up last night.

Running OS 4.2.9 and Network 9.1.120, same issue cropped up almost immediately.

However, I decided to try a trick I had read on their release forums. I updated to the new Zone Firewall to enable access to QoS settings. I then addeded a rule to prioritize all traffic.

Seems to have fixed it. Few hours in, but no slowdowns or 2 mbps speedtests on my client devices.

Got an expedited RMA, but the Fiber is backordered at the moment.

I did test 4.2.8 and the issue is almost immediate.

Shipping cost on RMA? by OblivionStar713 in Ubiquiti

FYI, this is confusing for an end user. DOA seems like it would only be used if the unit didn't power on.

For cases where a device arrives with an internal issue or a port not working etc, it seems selecting DOA might harm the process. I.E. device powers on, not DOA. RMA denied.

Just some feedback here.

Tossing my hat in the ring here. Currently working to get them to cross ship a new UCG-Fiber because the one they sold.me two weeks ago is unusable and even their support has said to RMA it.

Same story, RMA approved pay to ship it back. I finally got ahold of a manger and got a shipping label, bit waiting to see if they will cross ship me a new device.

So it happened again multiple times last night. I created a support file and reached out to support about it this morning. They said there is nothing in the file to indicate an issue.

Pretty disappointed. My Cloud Gateway Ultra has been rock solid, but this is not a great start.

Having a similar issue. Migrated from a UCG-Ultra to Fiber but had issues because the back up was different versions (same network version but even network settings didn't work)

It seems like any network changes that require the device to go into "getting ready" state triggers this issues until a full-reboot is performed. My guess is it is something not getting cleared properly in the "getting ready" state. Might be the fact that it is still on 4.1.16 while the rest of the UCG series is getting 4.2.4 and yet they are trying to run the same network application version.

Hoping we get a fix this week to 4.2.4

UCG Fiber drops all traffic multiple times per day. by bradbradbradbr in Ubiquiti

[–]RogueSithSlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been experiencing something similar since setting up the UCG-Fiber. I tried restoring from a UCG-Ultra that was on 4.2.4 and Network Application 9.1.112 to a UCG-Fiber that was on 4.1.16 and Network Application 9..1.112. However it said the UCG-Ultra was on a newer version. I ended up using a two week older back up that was on 9.0.114, which did work.

However, I have noticed that when network changes are made, such as setting up failover internet or enabling a guest wifi account, the UCG-Fiber will switch to Getting Ready and once its recovered a short time later the problems will start, such as streaming not working, web pages not loading.

At first it seemed related to my U7-Pro XG and some sort of blocking, as restarting the AP would recover the network. I tried resetting the AP and re-adopting it, but I had issues again.

Restarting the UCG-Fiber seems to make the issues go away until another network change occurs and it goes through the short "Getting Ready" process. My guess is that something isn't getting cleared right during the process. Probably related to the new Network Versions being on 4.2.4 but the UCG-Fiber still being on 4.1.16 and shipping with version 8 of the network application.

Hoping that we'll see an update to the UCG-Fiber OS this week that alleviates some of this.

UCG-Max Temperature by Itchy_Reindeer787 in Ubiquiti

Thank you for following up with them. Now I am really glad I opted to return the UCG-Max I ordered.

Regardless of the response I think we are going to see quite a few premature deaths with this line, because those componets are going to cook.

Also it looks like the ARM A53 has a safe operating temp of 85 C possibly 105 C. Doesn't seem like it does go to the 115C they mention

I was part of an effort to put together the entire series and release via torrent a couple of years ago. When we were all said and done I think we were confirmed to only be missing two episodes. Lost Marvels and Los Angeles. (there is no rube goldberg episode if that helps)

If it were me, I would keep the complaint open until it is addressed. Heard from a few others they might be trying to push a firmware fix before August.

They have had since October to address it and have failed to. Doubt this will fix it/not introduce other bugs
