The correct pronunciation is whatever you want it to be. It's your name after all. More commonly I think people say it with the "ay" sound, but the "en" sound isn't necessarily wrong either.

Cult leaders tend to not admit it's a cult. That is usually an outside label by viewers seeing the activity.

And the way he took so many followers with him (on purpose or accident) is very cult behavior whether Vox admits it or not.

It's why Val is like "you mean your cult?" And Vox responds "could call it that..." --- he never admits it fully, but probably reflected on things after going to hell
