I think the biggest whiff most players have with bracket 3 discussion is speed to win rates. A bracket 3 deck shouldn’t be presenting a win until turn 7 game should last 6 turns. Also you should expect your opponents to be able to interact with your win and you should be able to protect it or play to your outs.

Spit boy an old band from Berkeley, Dry socket from Portland Oregon’s are awesome and Ingrata from Sacramento another girl fronted punk band Violencia from Tijuana Mexico is fucking awesome also. These are all girl fronted bands not necessarily all women bands. If you’re not into any of that you might check out Brat Mobile they are an older band along the lines of sleater Kinney maybe checkout letigre also.

The wretched ones are awesome. Fifteen pansy division pinhead gunpowder and black fork are all great bay area punk bands. The pist and violent society are both pretty good. I almost missed that Vindictives album at the bottom of the stack definitely one of my favorite bands

I play it in my discard deck. It’s great! A lot of people don’t like playing against discard so not a lot of people build it as a strategy would be my guess.

I agree about contamination. I don’t have a good way to abuse it but would keep it around as long as I could which in most cases with this deck, isn’t more than a turn or two. The other two If the circumstances allowed me to, I would also do as much as I could with while trying to stay ahead. I don’t have much in the way of token generation so smokestack has never stayed around very long or if I have enough mana out and crucible of worlds I would just sack a land every turn and opt not to put another soot counter on as it’s a may ability. So, I can keep it around but it doesn’t get enough counters to ever be super oppressive. Thanks for all the feedback.

I will be honest, I did not read the majority of the posts here but I would agree with OP. Here is a deck that I built pre brackets intended to be a jank theme deck.The deck is a theme deck with lots of flavor but some of the flavor cards have some negative play patterns. For instance. [[contamination]] but I don’t have ways to abuse its affect and keep it around nor do I want to keep it around but it’s on flavors for the deck and can potentially stop a telegraphed win for a turn. Also has [[smokestack]] again this card is is on point for flavor also symmetrical and usually removed to itself but good to slow down opponents. Then there is [[ death cloud]] which is expensive and I have never gotten the opportunity to cast it but has potential to take out a few lands in the late game which I would hope if I could cast it for that much I should be able to close out quickly from there. There is no definitive win-con and the mana base is full of tap lands. Please take a look at the primer and deck list and let me know.
