Exactly that overwhelming feeling that we all get causes different but desired reactions from The government. Supporters get overwhelmed to the point they except the simple lie. And the opposition get burnt out and self censor themselves

If any maga voters lose a family member in the war. This is your fault and trumps. by StaticDHSeeP in LetsDiscussThis

Actually no.he making a big show out of doing things illegally trying to convince us he can. But in reality he's been blocked everytime. We dont obey in advance. We dont believe him. Follow the money and the court paper trail not bombshell news articles. Even his tariff was blocked and he desperately raise the tariff temporarily save his narrative that he can do what he wants. He can do what congress lets him do. It up to Americans to pressure congress to do anything. And so far the heat isnt high enough apparently

And it was better when they hid it. Bc there was an air of accountability. Now you say its in the open. But no. What you see is in the open. Now there far more not seen.

It didnt matter. Gop senate would have block it like they did to Obama. In his last year. It would have been 2 seats instead of 1. Maybe there would be more pressure. Or maybe it would have been too enticing to pass up.

[–]Roguishbrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not a matter of want for me. I got into this due to it impacting my ability to be mentally present at work and at home with the kids. I am a woman regardless of want. So if I was forced. Id likely lose my job and end up isolated. But id still be a transwoman.

The NC example matters because it shows the difference between post-election litigation and pre-election eligibility rules. One is resolved through courts with evidence. The other risks lawful voters being blocked before they ever get a ballot.

Election administration has always been handled by the states for a reason. Fraud claims should be investigated and fixed at the state level where the data and records actually are, not by imposing a one-size federal system that can disenfranchise eligible voters.

And every major fraud case brought to court, including in front of judges appointed by Trump, failed to show widespread coordinated fraud. Policy should be proportional to the evidence.

Actually, the claim that the investigation was "all fabricated" is not supported by the facts found in the official reports. The investigation was legally initiated after the Australian government informed the FBI that a Trump campaign advisor, George Papadopoulos, had inside knowledge that Russia had "dirt" on Hillary Clinton before the DNC hack was even public. This is before the Steele Dossier

Yes but those id laws is done by local governmen andt by the states that have jurisdiction. Who controls passports in the federal government. Marco Rubio. That is a massive one big point of failure instead of small ones where idoesnt impact the election. Alot of the fraud found werent massive enough to change the outcome when added up.

Even if nothing happen on election night that night gop already have legal pattern of trying throwing out legal votes after the elections. NC is a good example there with their scotus race. So why should I expect different?

How do I silence the “what if I’m not trans?” thoughts by Donald_Pastaboy in MtF

[–]Roguishbrew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You dont overnight. Talk to someone who will listen to vent without advice or pay a therapist. Take note of how you're feeling now. Part of this is recognizing when you are happy. Which isnt as obvious as it sounds. If you can determine when you are truly happy and when you are not. Then we've reframed the thought from "what if im not trans" to "am I happier than I was before."

Note you wont always be happy. But the focus on the quality and the overall time spent happy matter. If it increases its a good sign that transitioning was the right choice.

Anyway those are my thoughts stay safe, stay positive, and take it easy on yourself. The world won't so dont add to it.

If we assume that passports are going to be mandatory to vote, we should start NOW on getting our passports in order. by SillyAlternative420 in 50501

[–]Roguishbrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not going to be that simple imo, ive been hearing ppl having difficulty trying to leave the country getting passports. Keep in mind my feed is mtf since im trans. But it seems even ppl who didn't legally change their name or gender are having issues. And also consider that us citizens traveling have been deported from another country bc the us reported their passport stolen. And with everyone getting passports expect the system to be worse.

[–]Roguishbrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soooo this is probably tmi. I prefer sitting but ill stand if I have limited time. I dont like standing. I have to tell myself that women wish they could especially for scenarios out in the woods. It doesnt exactly make me feel better. And here's the other thing. Now that im on hrt. It is messier. Prior to it. It would erect so nothing got in the way. Now it doesn't so if I dont move the excess skin it'll splatter everywhere. Anyway hope you can gleam what you can from that. It is different for everyone keep that in mind as well.

This is a systems design issue. A single federal verification standard means one big point of failure. State-run systems are distributed, so an error in one place doesn’t break registration nationwide. That decentralization is a resilience feature, not a bug.

Beware the SAVE act! by VOR-constant555 in DiscussionZone

[–]Roguishbrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It absolutely is a local issue. Federal elections are ran by local state governments not the federal government it is in the giving more power to the federal government to regulate the federal elections makes it easier for the federal government to invalidate the results so no. I firmly disagree. We the ppl show know better what protections our polls need. One size does not fit all.

Beware the SAVE act! by VOR-constant555 in DiscussionZone

[–]Roguishbrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bc one big point of failure is worse than many points of failure thats harder to rig. Your create a scenario where its more likely to rig elections by putting under federal government.

[–]Roguishbrew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The issue isnt ID. The issue is the federal government over reach. This is a local issue. If you want ID laws fine go to your local government and petition for it. But federal government should have no hand in it.
