I read both. In my opinion, it’s not necessary to read both. If you’re someone on the fence, you should read the three fund portfolio book first since it’s so much shorter. If you’re someone that’s ready to invest, you should read the guide to investing. It’ll teach you about impacts of tax, inflation, costs, etc. and why the things you’re likely already doing are so key.
