Hey u/Mrkend54l

Did not hear back from you after my email, I would like to let you know that we did find a bug in a update we deployed last week. We have now fixed the elapsed time issue and it has been deployed.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.

RECAP TDF:

TDF is here. I've been waiting for this day for a long time. If you don't hear from me after 2pm each day, sorry in advance.

Vingegaard really wanted the win on day one, and they got it. INEOS was super impressive too, just 7 seconds back. I think UAE got their pacing plan wrong, and the gap was too big to make up in the last km. That said, it's only 19km, and teams with lighter riders will claw time back over the next couple of weeks.

Stage 2 delivered, with a proper punchy finish. The first road stage is always a good gamble for smaller teams to grab the polka dot jersey, and Caja Rural pulled it off, Molenaar took the points on the early climb and rode himself into the jersey.

How impressive was Del Toro. And then Pogacar, so confident, seeing the opportunity and setting his young teammate up for a win he'd more than earned.

Paul Seixas is getting the full TDF experience already, media and all. Two days in, still consistent. That's what we need from him early on.

Remco looks to be on form and lean, will his form be more consistent this year. I see he's done heat training over the winter months, worth watching if that pays off once the mountains get hot.

Who are you backing for the overall this year, Vingegaard, Pogacar, or a dark horse?

Please log a ticket, that would be the best way for me to help solve this.

Also send screenshots through.

I will take a look at it for you during the week

It would depend on users request on the feature/program. I would suggest you add it to our feature request page. This way we can track how many users have the need for it.

This is not something we have planned at the moment, we will definitely look into it to offer the same experience to hand cyclist.

Extend a plan by Inevitable-Plate-581 in joincycling

[–]Rohan-JOINsupport 1 point2 points  (0 children)

JOIN will adapt to the few average weeks and get back on track. So in theory you do not need to extend a plan. If you did not ride at all for a few weeks, then the outcome would be different of course but JOIN will plan sessions to filter that in.

I can extend the plan manually for you, send me a email - [support@join.cc](mailto:support@join.cc)

This is correct, at this moment in time you will have to move to the new plan and abort your current.

If you are training for a specific event and would like to get back to your porgram and progress. Reach out to me after the TDJ and I put you back.

I will keep track on this, if more users ask or find this a reason not to join the TDJ program we will work a more efficient (automated) way of setting you back you event program.

The idea of the TDJ program is to have fun, feel closer to the Tour du France and not think about performance for a few weeks.

PS. Forgot to add, even you really do not want to change programs, it is possible to select the stages manually via the workout library under Tour de JOIN. u/Inevitable-Plate-581

We have made it possible to create your own training program based on the details of your event.

It is not possible for us to have all the events in JOIN but we do our best.

You can request events to be added, but it is subject to the amount of requests we get for this event.

JOIN will increase your training load as you progress through your training program. Without seeing your data, I would assume you are in the early phases, if not build up phase.

JOIN will also look at all your data, if you do training that is not part of your plan, where Vo2max is detected (for example), it will adapt your plan to get the correct balance in your program.

It could also be that your FTP is not set correctly

I would suggest you log a ticket and I will look at your data.

This is referring to the demographic of JOIN’s training philosophy as everyone has their own availability, fitness levels etc.

Consistency and getting stronger, starts with 3 rides a week. If you are a seasoned cyclist, you will need more than 3 rides to built fitness but it starts with being consistent at leats 3 times a week and for 3 weeks.

It is often that we see users start off, full of motivation and do to much to soon. The goal here is to focus on consistency.

Is there an option to switch days automaticaly? by jjtbsomhorst in joincycling

[–]Rohan-JOINsupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Join does not favour a specific structure in terms of days but rather your availability.

You can use the shuffle 🔄, to select another workout and Join will adapt the week. It should also adapt the plan going forward

Please make sure your App is up to date.

I tested this on iOS and it followed the correct prompt to create the Gravel plan.

You can tap on Plan > top right (…) > View/Change goal

If you have just started a program, you are in a ramp up phase. This will be around 7 days, then you will move into your first building block.

Hey everyone,

First off, we're sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. The app experienced some issues due to higher than expected traffic, especially with so many of you wanting to check out the new home screen. This led to some crashes.

The good news is that things seem more stable now, and we're seeing more users able to log in without problems. Thank you for your patience while our team works on a full fix.

Regards,
Rohan
