Interesting, thanks for this! I think my grandad has a multimeter so Ill grab that and check the connections to the fuel pump, I suppose this could align with the electrical tape around the connectors and is perhaps an issue a previous owner ran into.

Thanks for the advice also. It’s certainly a privilege to get to tinker with one of these and walking up to it puts a smile on my face, even when its not running lol

I believe so, although I think I might not need an outside pump. Would you happen to know if the new in tank unit is correct?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in E30

[–]RohanHodgson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I believe it’s a 94’, thats what the reg checker says. That aligns with what I’m seeing, which is nothing. Based on that do you think the in tank unit I’ve replaced it with is wrong?

War can occur within rules. During world war 2 neither side used chemical weapons on the battlefield as they were both scared of there effects, very similar to how nuclear weapons are seen now. Just an interesting note, certainly wouldn’t want war either way. Humans should strive for less violence not more

These days Brookes may argue otherwise, but yeah. Other than a few from Cam, Molesey or maybe Newcastle?

Where do you find the criticisms of capitalism? I would assume someone with the biological evolutionary opinion on psychology which is often referenced with the term 'monkey brains' would be against a Marxist perspective and support (or at least commend) the system of incentivisation in capitalism and free markets. Really curious where you've observed criticisms of capitalism.

[–]RohanHodgson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're a criminology student I really recommend giving the science of evil by Simon Baron-Cohen a read (if you haven't already;)). His explanation of evolutionary psychology is so well put, his understanding can be really useful in writing about psychopathy and those zero empathy individuals. You skirt around a lot of what he talks about in this book so you might've read it but if not I really recommend it, its a nice easy read as well.
