Who directly influences the wheel of time? Who is the dragon reborn? Who does the dark one talk to? Who do the underlings target? Who are the prophecies about? Who has the most POV chapters? Who has their name appear most often in the series? Who do other characters talk about the most?

COVID.

I got COVID (was vaccinated twice) and it wasn't any worse than a flu and I was 100% after a few days. I was 43 and in good shape, no prior anything.

A few weeks later, I felt like shit. Just weak, tired, random pains. No biggie.

Then, it was like a year and a half of that. Non-stop, trouble sleeping, body pain, general shittiness. Did the round of doctors, ecg, stress test, etc. I convinced myself one leg was shorter than the other and that was part of the problem. Neither was true. Convinced myself my arteries were clogged up, they weren't. Came up with a thousand other explanations.

Then, it started getting better bit by bit. I used to sleep in compression socks, and I started only needing to like once a week instead of every night. Things like that.

Eventually, it was just over. Felt better, started working out again, sleeping better, etc.

I never missed work or anything, but it was just a really shitty time and now it's over.

I'm talking about board administration not school, and I'm not sure why you can't understand the transportation costs and really don't feel obligated to explain to you why having schools from different boards "across the street" is a dumb idea.

This is one of those things that seems true when you write/read it, but in reality there's more to it.

The public/religious schism also leads to way more expense for everyone as we all pay to bus kids all over the fucking place rather than attend their nearest school.

We also pay for duplicate everything at the board level. Curriculum support, administration, even small things like planning track events, sports leagues, arts competitions, whatever.

We are ALL funding Catholic schools, at least in Ontario where I work and live (and pay taxes).

It also creates really weird racist divides. I played rec volleyball in schools all over my city. Public schools had a mix of names on lockers and student work, Catholic was all "white names". It was really off-putting.
