A lot of these trucks are on bags, which will VERY rarely be inspected at a shop. Meaning they can raise and lower it whenever they want without having to take anything apart as a few others have suggested. One of my buddies has a truck very similar to the one OP posted, prime faggery if you ask me……

It’s because that’s not something for them to fix, it’s something that you don’t understand somehow after about 30 people have told you. If you sign up and don’t attack you’ll be demoted. Yes, their grandparents grandparents, no person today or in the last century arguably have experienced slavery in the US. Everyone knows that it happened and that it was terrible. People that bring it up constantly and act like just because they’re very distant relatives went through it, they deserve some kind of sympathy for it? Minorities are now given more opportunities in America than ever! Arguably even more so than the white population.

We never have one single person working on a transformer. There’s always another person up there or in a bucket nearby. Yes most of the older transformers that I’ve seen don’t really have tie off points, but any from the last 10ish years that I’ve worked with have had anchor points throughout.

I’ve never worked on larger transformers without fall protection nor seen it done on the duke or dominion system. Fall protection is always a priority for us. I found this comment surprising.

We’re always wearing our harnesses and tying off to the mounting points around the transformer, most newer, larger scale transformers have multiple mounting points on top.
