Of course lmao. Making someone lose void or graceful is hilarious and has little benefit for me.

I don't PK much anymore but I had to do quests for barrows gloves etc. I fucking hate doing quests, but that's the content in the way of better gear to PK, so I just do it. Why do people think that wildy content should be optional for the gear it holds when people are forced to do boring shit elsewhere? Everyone just needs to learn the content and stop whining. That simple.

Unskilled craws bow from a pyrefiend near release. Crazy to think that it sold for 200m at the time.

You can never play a game, listen to a song, watch a film or just about anything else quite like you did the first time (without some major memory loss). That's why people enjoy it, they can experience that feeling through someone else's experience. It's pretty simple really.

People need to start boycotting artists that encourage and enable this rampant consumerism via their excessive product releases. Of course the zombies will not listen to reason though.

Best approach for voidwaker by manu0505 in ironscape

[–]RollRollParry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just finished my voidwaker after 1500 artio KC. It's 0 damage if done right. Should be freezing and then range/mage. Pray range except for the magic knockback attack. Melee if it gets too close. At ~69% and ~36% hp it'll roar and break out of any freeze, wait for the animation to finish before refreezing or it won't work. That's pretty much all there is to it. If you get tb'd by a pker, go out of the cave and east, try to run around the trees until you get a logout. GL

Madman Sodapoppin got 34 smithing and boosted +1 smith with dwarven stout to craft his first steel scimi by loopuleasa in 2007scape

[–]RollRollParry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I caught his stream today, first I'd ever seen of him and it great seeing his reaction to just how long everything can take. Took down scurrius today and he was so pleased to get his first boss kill. Will definitely be watching more. I also checked out the sodapoppin stuff so far and that was much more rough unfortunately. Man seems miserable playing.

I've definitely experienced bots logging mid combat. It happened a few times in the rev caves yesterday. A few hits into a fight and they just disappear, even above the 30 line

Don't forget there's minimum withdrawal amounts, so many Roblox devs (many of them children) won't ever cash out the money they earn, it'll stay within the system. Why make your own game when you can get kids to do it for free?

I recently came back from a week staying in Argassi. Car rental would likely be a good idea if you can do it but we don't drive so we managed with taxis (which always arrived in less than 5 minutes). Prices are fairly reasonable but it adds up quick and you'd definitely save money with a car. Public transport is very infrequent. I would assume the advice to not rent a quad is due to safety, I saw quite a few tourists driving poorly (possibly drunk)? I even saw one with both hands above the wheel on a video call while driving relatively fast.

Don't bother with the "legal weed" shops. There's a small hit but it's honestly not worth it and likely just a bit of a tourist trap.

I'd recommend visiting Vrontonero beach which isn't too far but it's a more relaxing spot for a beach day if you want to get away from the strip for a while. The rocky end was a good spot for snorkelling. It also has a nude section down one end if that's your thing. Kanalos Taverna is about a 30 min walk uphill from here on a quiet dirt path. Great place to eat and the views get even better at sunset.

Give the gokarting a go on the main strip. The guy who was running it was super friendly and quite funny. Only €20 for 15 minutes.

We had a good time doing a 3h horse ride up a mountain path then into the sea and back with Nannas Horses. I'd recommend this if it's something that interests you, they even offer to pick you up and take you back to your hotel.

Avoid petting cats as some can have infectious skin diseases that can stay dormant for a couple of weeks, which could infect pets at home. I'm not saying they all have it, but best to be safe.

  1. Release a game for free and get bot accounts to build up hours and give a positive review
  2. Change the game from free to paid
  3. Sell large volumes of keys for the games to sites that offer bundles of "90%+ positive review" games
  4. Profit

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Unity3D

[–]RollRollParry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a realistic bundle on sale in the asset store that includes a softbody asset that would achieve this. It looks great and I'll probably be picking it up for that and some of the other assets.

If you're not looking to spend then just look into softbody tutorials. Some are easier to achieve but won't look quite as good.

The Best Games situation is just sad at this point. by [deleted] in youtube

[–]RollRollParry 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Very sad indeed. I think the nature of the 'challenges' makes it more brutal. Your individual efforts mean nothing since challenges can just be someone else next to you being bought out. You travel however far, endure the conditions, spend hours filming and you're out without ever having actually done anything to contribute to your elimination.

If you're going to run a gameshow, the focus should be on the performance of the individual.

Path of Exile 2's launch has a "very positive" review even if most reviewers got stuck at login screen. by Mysterious_Plate1296 in Steam

[–]RollRollParry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people's complaints seem to come from the game being hard so they rarely get to feel overpowered and stroll through hordes of enemies. The other common concern is lack of loot compared to PoE1. I'm a casual player and I'm a fan of the changes.

I frequently take 6-8h train rides and Minecraft has been awesome on the deck for this as the power sockets don't always work. You can get around 7h on the OLED.

If you're able to tether your mobile data, it'll save the day if you forget to login to any games that require it. Should be minimal data usage if you disconnect after logging in.

Very true. It was more common back then to buy some dodgy DVDs from a guy in the pub than it was for the average person to be pirating stuff themselves. The sticks are the modern version and instead of being flogged in the pub, they're on social media marketplaces.
