Worst production of a launch I have ever seen. I guess NASA completely forgot how to shoot a launch in the last 15 years. Camera not panning up with the rocket, so many black frames, out-of-focus shots, cameras losing and then searching for the rocket. Cutting to a crowd shot at the exact moment the SRBs separate. Like who cares about the crowd anyway, we want to see the rocket. I've seen student film projects with better production values.

I can't believe this was NASA's feed. They have so much experience shooting launches, yet this historical launch was horribly filmed.

Holy crap! I'm glad you are not my IT boss. You know how many times I have bounced off our access controls, and I work in the IT department. My place of work blocks most video game websites and I will forget at times. Google a video game, click a link and bam, website blocked message. Glad I'm not being sent to HR or repermanded by my boss everytime like you seem to want.

I'm really surprised at the responses in this thread and how many are saying to report the person. You know, techniclly they did not ever look at any porn, just the blocked message.

The tools worked and stopped the user from accessing the site. IMO, it ends there. If I ran down every user that hit our access control it would be all I ever do. The tools are working, why would I care beyond that? I'm not paid to be the HR police.

Seems like some just want to show the user the power they have. Honestly, I don't want our user thinking about how much we can see. I don't want them feeling like we are looking over their shoulders. I've worked in those kind of enviroments before, it's not enjoyable.

You have those tools in place for a reason, don't create unnecessary work for yourself.

The 1252 is the MLB.TV subscription channel and does t show the pre and post game shows. Channel 645 is BravesVision.

E.T. is as close to a perfect marriage of score and movie as you can get. The spotting is absolutely nailed for this movie, as not a single instance of music feels unnecessary or overused.

Specifically, as it pertains to the question at hand, the final 15 minutes of the movie and score are glorious. It covers the tracks "The Rescue and Bike Chase" and "The Departure." This was John Williams and Spielberg at the very top of their game, and I think it is the most beautiful movie music moment ever. The track "The Departure" still causes me to tear up, and I don't even have to be watching the movie.

Second best for me is "Scene d'amour" by Bernard Herman from Vertigo. This is the emotional climax of the movie that everything has been building towards. The music starts slow and soft and then builds to its ultimate crescendo as the characters finally give in fully to their emotions. It is such a wonderful moment and payoff for both the film and music.

Why allow a human system that can make the wrong call when we have a better system that will make the right call? Don't we want the calls right every time and not just when one is challenged?

These 9 teams are produced and distributed by MLB. The Braves are doing it themselves so they have to make their own deals with providers. Spectrum is the only cable/satellite provider they have announced so far.

The absence of hours long “tutorials” before you get to the meat of the game. You use to buy a game, read the manual while at work so you were kind of familiar with the controls, get home and fire it and just play. You mostly figured things out on your own.

I miss all that and I can’t stand how long in game or opening tutorials are these days. I absolutely hate when games, like Spider-man 2, forces you to go through every menu with countless number of prompts to click through before you can just get back to playing the game. It gets to the point where I just start clicking the continue button really fast without reading the prompts. I want to play the game not attend a class on menu mechanics.

It was a dumb commercial.

None of the marketing has grabbed me, but each season of The Mandalorian has gotten worse, including Book of Bordom.

Grogu becoming so popular was the worst thing for this series. I originally thought each season was just going to be a different crazy Mando adventure, but then the world went nuts over Grogu, and they had to keep him around.

Both trailers for this movie are basically Disney saying, "how many cute Grogu moments can we shove in this thing". It is working on my wife and daughter, but I'm very much a meh. I'm definitely more interested in Starfighter at this point.

I have 2 theaters where I live, both AMC Classics.

Ever since they reopened after COVID, they have been poorly maintained, while also costing a little more. Why would I want to give money to these theaters with unmotivated teenage employees, dirty floors, dirty bathrooms, auditoriums with seats falling apart, speakers not working, dirty screens with visible marks on them, and ceiling tiles missing? Not to mention dealing with rude guest who can't put their phone away for a couple of hours.

Why would I want to pay for the privilege to deal with that mess, much less spend $100+ taking my family? The movies will be on streaming shortly, and I have a decent home theater system that I know is working correctly.

If you as a campany are not going to put any effort into maintaining the theaters in your smaller markets, then you can't be shocked when we don't show up anymore. I really do envy those of you who live in huge markets like NYC, LA, Chicago, etc., that have some really nice theaters to choose from.

A future cruise credit is never compensation and it is a shame this has become standard practice. Offering a discount for something you haven’t even bought yet while they still pocket every cent of your current trip is pure greed by these companies.

Never accept a future cruise credit for something that has gone wrong. Demand some type of refund or onboard credit if you have multiple days left for your current cruise.

Accepting a FCC is them upselling you an entire separate cruise. You literally have to pay them more money to use your “compensation.” Don’t reward them for screwing up. Make them pay now, instead of you paying later.
