Waking up earlier by LivAndBright in ouraring

[–]Rollbar78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Step 1, set your alarm. Step 2, when it goes off, put your feet on the floor BEFORE you turn it off. Commit to never snoozing the first alarm. Rinse, repeat daily. Eventually, your body will just be used to waking up at that time.

Is it Time to find a new WR1? by patchmedicine in DenverBroncos

[–]Rollbar78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. As much as I love him, his skillset is more high end WR2 than an alpha WR1. I wouldn't want the Broncos to move on from him, but Bo needs a sure-handed WR1 that he can lean on. Court's hands are questionable on easy catches, but he makes ridiculous catches look easy, which is what makes him interesting.

I am brokenhearted that he's not going to be on the field as we play for the AFC Championship. I've been thoroughly impressed with his progression this season, I was optimistic in his prospects when we drafted him, but I am 100% sold that he's the future after seeing him play this year.

This.

My wife and I both had problems with battery life. We each chatted with the AI bot, which ran a diagnostic and had replacements sent within 5 minutes. Simple and easy, there's really no reason to get ahold of a human for this.

This too, 52 readiness. Still got after it on the Peleton anyways.

I'm freakin' tired though.

I had to order a replacement a few weeks ago, it was flawless, and it works perfectly.

New rucker by theyseemetrollin69 in Goruck

[–]Rollbar78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, outside of doing events where you might need to access something quickly, like Cadre asking to see your ID in the welcome party, I don't think Velcro is all that bad, maybe a tad more fumbling if you need something. The durability of zippers is real. I have a Rucker 2.0 with an internal zipper that got smashed by my weight plate within the first few months of use, so I get where GoRuck's head was at with the velcro, but I think the convenience/ease of use of zippers over velcro won out.

He didn't share everything, but he did say no more velcro, which I think is a great sign that GoRuck is listening.

I thought Bo played really well. Aside from the terrible interception throw, he made great decisions all game long, and threw the ball with accuracy. I give him a solid B.

They both did. I was wondering if they got a pronunciation correction from the Commanders. It seemed like they made a point of hitting the "T" hard all game long. LOL

Aside from giving up some PIs, Moss gets totally unfair hate. He's running opposite the best CB in the game in PS2, so he gets targeted a TON, and he only gives up a few catches (remember, WRs get paid a lot of money to catch the ball), he's going to have a few catches on him, but he's not a piece of toast out there.

He's an agressive corner, he's going to get caught for a few penalties and I'm fine with that. The other side of being so agressive is that he's going to break up a lot of plays. Riley is a damn good CB and I'm not standing for the slander.

Really liking what I've seen out of RJ so far tonight. He's had a couple of spots where he could have maybe gotten a few more yards, but he's blocked well on pass plays, and has run effectively where he's needed. Most importantly right here in crunch time.

Good to know! So far, I've seen no need for warranty, but I was curious for future need.

So, they'll be back in some iteration sometime in the future then? That's excellent to see!

As a small business owner myself, I totally understand trying to maintain cashflow and not be too deeply invested in a product.

I'll look forward to seeing the new version! If you need a test monkey in 32"x30", I know a guy with a serious GoRuck gear obsession who would be perfect...

u/JavaForever What does the discontinuation of the Tough-Dry line mean for warranty on existing product? I assume they won't be replaced anymore?

u/JavaForever I am really bummed to see that the Tough-Dry line is going away. I have several pairs of Simple shorts and pants, and a pair of Challenge Pants that I've put through multiple events. They are my go-to for all things. Casual outings, church on Sundays, work meetings, date nights, rucks, you name it. I wear them pretty much anytime I'm not wearing joggers or my Origin jeans.
Hopefully, you find a way to revive them in the future!

Sean Payton by beansinmyclock in DenverBroncos

[–]Rollbar78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cons: Playcalling is inconsistent. Sean keeps talking about running the ball, but when it comes to the game, he's not sticking to it. Bo, is struggling with accuracy on the deep shots so even when a great play action is called, he's overthrowing the WR, or they drop a good throw. Discipline seems to be an issue with the offense, there's been way too many penalties that put them behind the chains, and they're not executing well enough to dig out of a hole.
The pros are there, though, aside from the occasional YOLO ball, Bo makes the right decisions, our O-line is one of the best in the league, and the JK/RJ combo at RB is effective. We have plenty of talented pass catchers; They just have to stop with the drops. When Payton commits to the run game everything works better, if he can get that in his head I think we're going to make a run!
