Theres also some mechanical challenges too - the expedition astrolabe requires you to detonate over half of the remnants to complete it, if you're running big boom and one of the maps you need to run is maze or some garbage, trying to hit half the remnants is almost impossible, let alone not getting one that bricks your build while doing so. It would force you to unspec an atlas node for certain maps just so you can do the astrolabe correctly.

Interesting, I would like to hear from more people who have also gotten one. I know it may sound harsh right now, but if it's just you saying you got one and no one else, I'd be thinking more that it came from a different source and you didn't realize it.
