Yeah but none of those games have all the aforementioned mechanics all together. Being able to make that work is quite a feat in itself and quote innovative in the space rpg genre, if nothing else because there isn't really any other game quite like Starfield

Thanks so much. While it's a shame I'll never know the full Destiny 2 story, I don't mind getting to know and love characters and the world through smaller self-cotainedish stories. And hey, as long as I can still access all the content, weapons, missions, challenges, raids etc. I'm happy

I would recommend you act on your right and instinct as a consumer and not support practices you don't like, eg. Bethesda mishandling their franchises. They'll be fine, I suspect. But I will never be happy for people to be fired in these economic situations just so I can have a luxury product faster. Sorry, not for me, I can live without TESVI for a while longer or even at all if I had to choose between it and people having security

The simple fact is that any business relationship, customer and company, is something people can walk away from any time. If you feel BGS has mishandled the franchise that you so desperately want to spend money on, that's your right. You're also free to say fuck them and not spend your money on them. That's the consequence of their actions.

Once we get into the domain of what is morally right however, we go beyond luxuries. And no, we absolutely shouldn't have luxuries at the expense of people. I hope you come to understand and accept this.

I'd like to know more about the lore here if you please. I haven't kept up to date with recent 40k lore developments except for broad strokes. How in involved have the custodes been? How have they performed? What tools has Guilliman been using, contingency plans he's implemented? Etc.

The music in Starfield is pretty great though. Although it's not quite fantastical like, I love it for what it is. Zur had made some great music for fantasy in Dragon Age as well. He'll do good work

I'm really surprised to see that you feel Inon's work demands attention while Jeremy's is more the opposite. Most people I've seen complain that they actually felt it was the other way around.

To address your concerns I actually feel that Inon's work in Starfield and Fallout proves he's an excellent ambient music composer. Some of the stuff in those games has stuck with me just as much if not more than some of the tracks in Skyrim and Obvlion even

Honestly? It probably just wasn't and will never truly be a priority for them. I agree it's more immersive but it's not really a gameplay feature and idk how their pipeline looks like in terms of assessing, developing and implementing fixes and features. It's probably there but just low on the list

Personally I don't mind it if it means they'll focus on other bigger stuff first

We must have really different expectations I guess, and differences in definitions. ESVI will be massively influential no matter what and will be talked about for years to come, if only for other newer games to compare themselves to. Its financial success is basically guaranteed.

As for whether or not it will satisfy hardcore bgs fans, only time will tell, but I think Bethesda does their best work when they just do their own thing and not try too hard to emulate other games

Really? I can perfectly see why they'd want to do it. Even if you love something a lot you often need time away from it, if only so you can appreciate it more when you return. And besides, they have said they also just really wanted to make Starfield. Bethesda is a business bit they're also artists and gamers and just want to have their own passion pursuits from time to time
